- Reviewed in Canada on April 2, 2025Verified PurchaseATTENTION, Lysle 40100 tool, only problem there's no markings on the components of the tool, is this a replica of the Lysle tool or the real deal? All the tools i own, the brand is etched or printed on or laser labeled... but this tool and it's components have to brand name on any parts?

- Reviewed in Canada on November 18, 2023Verified PurchaseAs a flat rate Automotive Service Technician, this is a wicked tool to use at work when replacing those stubborn hub assemblies. It makes the jobs go like a breeze. Even use it for personal use and for anyone who knows how big of a pain in the ass rear hub assemblies could be on older Subarus, this also makes doing them a breeze. Good build quality, not to mention buying off 鶹 is much cheaper compared to the Snap-On or Mac truck for the exact same Lisle kit.
- Reviewed in Canada on June 18, 2023Verified PurchaseI used this on a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk Edition. This tool had the hub assembly off in less than 5 minutes. Of course you do have to take the brake caliper off, the rotor off, the hub nut, the brake backer shield etc... but once you get to the hub assembly this tool is just great. This is the 2nd hub assembly I have replaced. (Both in the front end.) The first hub assembly I removed (without the Lisle Tool) took an hour or more of hammering. This time with the Lisle Tool the removal went so well.
- Reviewed in Canada on April 30, 2024Verified PurchaseThe tool kit works as advertised. One washer/spacer was missing from the kit when delivered. Contacted Lisle and advised that the kit was incomplete upon arrival.
Lisle promptly arranged a washer/spacer to be sent my way. Not only Lisle makes good product they also looks after their customer well.
- Reviewed in Canada on April 21, 2024Verified PurchaseHad to do both front hubs.
Did the first one before this tool arrived and the hub separated before it even started to move (rust-seized) after almost an hour of trying different methods.
Did the second one with this tool and it popped loose in seconds. Definitely recommended.

I rarely have bought a tool that is really impressive and worth a review. This tool is definitely worth it. Solid. Heavy duty. Easy to use. Pulled front hubs off my 2013 ram 2500 using this tool and a regular ratchet. No problems whatsoever. I was a bit skeptical at first. I have used other style pullers before with slide hammers etc. I went with this one and glad I did. Highly recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wheel Bearing Replacement MUST Prius Gen 2
Verified PurchaseAs a DIYer, I like to fix anything that seems doable with the right tools. Been driving my trusty Toyota Prius 2nd Gen for 7 years and it has never been in the dealership or mechanic shop as all maintenance was as mentioned, DIY friendly. Then comes the wheel bearing at 200,000 miles starting to growl. Well, that was a first time scenario where, even with a slide and hammer kit and even with the HUB shocker kit, the end result was not a single budge except sore muscles, ears, and headaches. I eventually got the job done by removing the knuckle with the wheel bearing still inside the knuckle, and bringing it to a mechanic shop where I paid $40 for them to 20 ton press the bearing out. Even with the press, it did not budge, until a torch was put against it with high heat for couple minutes. That was a job I will never forget because of the journey I had to go through. Fast forward to 2024 (as that last story was from 2017) and the same wheel bearing issues had come up on my father's 2nd gen prius. Not excited about the process, I looked around to see if anyone had figured something better for the job, and noticed this tool. It barely came to public in 2023. Why did it take this long for it to be a thing?! Anyhow, bought it no questions asked, put it to work with my impact, and holy moly, it literally worked after about 10 minutes of gradually rotating the impact points of the hub. Knowing that the hub would need heat from prior experience, I DID also heat up the hub from behind the knuckle with a yellow bottle MAP torch for 7 minutes (Can pick them up at your local Home Depot or hardware store for about $50 more or less including the auto engage torch function). After heating, only took 3 more minutes to safely pop the hub out while NEVER having to use a hammer once. The torch was not angled properly and I accidentally burned my CV axle outer boot in the process and now, I am back in amazon buying a universal boot because of my foolish mistake. Rest assure, you should not have any issues if you do need heat, just be careful and watch where you are heating and turn the flame off once you are ready to impact the darn thing off. Will never look at wheel bearings being a nightmare ever again with this beast tool. From the Chicago land area and both Prius' mentioned have been 200,000 miles and NEVER had a wheel bearing removed/replaced. 17 years of corrosion in the rust belt will pretty much need heat. But for the other 75% people out there, you will prob be fine without heat. The tool will do the job. Just glad it's a real product as nothing like it existed before. Every DIY car guy should have this in his belt of tools.
