Product description

Traditional liquid veal rennet is used for cheesemaking. It works quickly and efficiently to coagulate milk and is excellent for all recipes requiring coagulant. For aged cheese, veal rennet is generally preferred over rennet alternatives. Liquid rennet is easy to measure for small-batch cheesemaking and has advantages over microbial rennet. For aged cheese, the pepsin content promotes desired flavors and aroma, whereas microbial rennet only contains chymosin and can create off-flavors with time.
