The 360 Siphon RV holding tank vent cap remove odors from the source — the holding tanks — and exhausts them out the roof vent before they have a chance to invade the RV living space.     We had a minor hail storm and lost the plastic disc off the top. It snaps on to five plastic "fingers" around the edge. I attempted to find the disc only, but it appears that Lippert does not make them available without buying the entire product. At the time, the entire vent was $54.00. I reluctantly bought one, snapped off the disc and snapped it onto the existing one. I put a small gob of silicone over each joint so that hopefully the disc won't pop off so easily next time. I am now left with the main part of the vent, which is pretty much useless without the disc. If it comes off again, I will replace the entire vent cover with a different brand.

    This product totally made a difference on my camper vs the vents from factory. As a full-time RV’er my wife and I seemed to have a bad odor coming from the drains of the grey tank (shower drain & the sinks drain) while draining. After adding these vents to our camper we have yet smelt it again. The reason for the 4 star review and not the full 5 is the glue application process while installing due to the item being a 2 piece vent. Would be again.

    I would highly recommend remember lacing all your rv roof vents with these. We have a 43ft 5th wheel with 5 vents. Everytime I would dump the black tank I would get a smell by out bedroom. Replaced all and no more smell. Great replacement
