I bought this step to replace the original single step. It fit almost perfectly in the same location as the original single step. All that was needed was to use spacers to fill in the 1/2" space between the trailers mounting bracket.

    In my case it wasn’t a simple install as the front bolts from the old 1 step matched-up but I hand to drill holes for the rear bolts (not a big deal). Also my old step bracket was 25” and the new was slightly bigger but was able to use a floor jack and push into place.
    The stairs work and look great now they are installed. Very happy.
    They are well built and seem very strong.
    Just be aware that it may not be a simple swap project

    This did not fit our Lexington Motorhome. We cannot return as we could not get a professional install until July and the return window closed 2 weeks prior. No help from Manufacturer and now are stuck with a useless ( to us) set of stairs. The modifications that would be required to make it fit were astronomical and as the professional pointed out were extreme. Be wary when ordering these stairs!

    I bent the heck out of our rv steps on 2016 Airstream Serenity, 27’. At first I wondered if the step was an Airstream part, and it would be hard to find and expensive. After doing ‘research’ online, it appeared the Airstream steps were just stock rv steps. That was good news. I just finished replacing the steps with just a bit of finagling, and we are back in business. I was glad Airstream used speed nut clips for the bolts and not welded on nuts as the former has lateral leeway.

    For the shipping, the rv steps were simply put in a large cardboard box with a bit of paper that was worthless. I am sure some shipments might arrive poking holes in the box and/or damaged as nothing prevents them from sliding side to side. Mine arrived ok!

    2017 FR RPod. These will fit with some manipulation/drilling the hole so it lines up better. Once you get it to line up they make a big difference compared to the factory installed one step. There is still a decent drop from the camper to the first step but it sets further out so you feel a little more stable. Especially with the lower step to catch your momentum as a medium-tall person. Fold up fine for travel.

    Keystone Hideout 178 came from the factory with a single step, made for too high of a step coming in and tough getting out. These Lippert steps are just right giving 7" rise between steps. They were the same width steps as the factory and the mount brackets were 1/2" narrower than the factory. Holding the steps in place with a jack marked the factory brackets and drilled the 4 holes for the new steps. Used the original mounting bolts and fabricated 1/4" aluminum spacers for each side to make up the 1/2" difference. With the spacers these steps bolt in like factory and give a much easier entry and exit.
