The REHAND Walking Cane with Seat is a unique and very convenient solution for those suffering from mobility issues. I am currently rehabbing my left leg from a tibial fracture and a knee replacement. I use a cane and I have difficulty walking long distances. So when I saw this cane, I knew I had to try it.

The cane itself is surprisingly lightweight and easy to walk with and the folded seat does not get in your way when walking. The handle is well padded and comfortable in your hand. The cane is fully adjustable by moving the silver button up or down the holes that spaced 1’ apart. The cane adjusts from 38.5 inches to 34.5 inches. The seat is 16 inches from the ground and it is 10" long and 9" wide.

To unfold the seat, you pull the handle on the seat and pull the legs apart. Unfolding and folding is a little difficult to do and requires a little strength. When you sit on the seat, you sit facing the handle and with the handle between your legs. You use the handle to stabilize yourself while getting on and off. I am 5'9" and I weigh 190 lbs. and the seat did feel a little unstable to me at first. And it was a little difficult for me to get up from the seat because it seemed low to me. These issues maybe due to my mobility problems. After I practiced a few more times, it became a little easier and I felt more secure. The website states this cane and seat can hold up to 350lbs. I would be very cautious putting that much weight on this cane/seat.

I really like the concept of this cane and I will get a lot of use out of it. It's reassuring knowing that I can sit anytime I need to when using it. This cane can be a lifesaver for those suffering from medical conditions or mobility issues.
