To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on 鶹. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Customers are satisfied with the functionality of the door closer. They mention it works great, the control works great, and it will close the door after 10 minutes. Some say it's not cheap but works.
Going on my 3rd in 10 years! When it screws up it opens the garage door. Been lucky no one cleaned out my garage. Haven’t been away. Imagine on a trip. Not cool !

I have had the opener control for I believe at least a year. The installation was straight forward and the instructions were clear. I also purchased the gateway so that I can then use application that you can get for the popular smartphones. The unit will automatically close the garage door at preset times even without the gateway. With the gate way one can open and close the garage anywhere your smartphone has coverage. The infired dector turns on the lamp in the garage when you enter and will turn off when you leave. I have read from previous reviews that this controller has a possible defect and that it can fail and the garage door will open when it should be closed. I have done some research and believe there is a fix for that. The DC power is provided by the two wires plus an minus connected to the unit. That DC needs to be regulated down to regulated +5 volts. What regulates that are two, what are called super capacitors, that have a 1 farad capacitance and act will batteries. These capacitors leak and fail. They could be removed by soldering and replaced. If this happens and you are handy, then it is an option. It would be best if the manufacturer and a warranty repair program. I have not had any trouble with mine and believe the functionality out weighs the risk.
Make sure to delete the previous wall control from the garage door main board then do a new “learn “ for the new controller so that you can connect to the internet. This is for those who have the system working through a hub and control from your phone.
The item did not work and I couldn't return so I lost out on my money. :-( This is the second one I purchased in 2 years since the one I have wasn't working correctly either. Not a good brand and I will not buy this brand again. Found a way to bandaid the one I have for now and pray it lasts a bit longer. Otherwise, I'll have to get an entirely brand new garage door opener system.
