    Only installed yesterday and no leaks at all, unlike the plastic Suncast one I bought 2 weeks ago and had to throw out. I'm left handed, so this one allows installation with the handle on the left, however you have to wind it from the bottom vs the top. I would have given 5 stars if they made it for both sides. I will be buying another one for the back yard also to replace a leaking Suncast.

    Mounted about 4 feet up on the wall means no more bending over to reel in the hose.
    The pivot means that I can reel the hose back in easily no matter where in the yard I used it.

    In every way I would want to evaluate it, the operation is smooth and easy.

    Generally seems well built. I misjudged the construction from the pictures on 鶹. I thought the spokes were solid round bars. The spool sides are actually deeply stamped, fairly heavy gauge sheet metal. Seems plenty sturdy.

    I would have preferred a more neutral color, but didn't care for certain aspects of the models that weren't red. I'd minus 1/4 star for that if I could. But, the color has grown on me.

    A bit pricey compared to the big box hose-in-a-plastic-box job that I had before. Considering that I like it about 1000 times better than the old plastic box, it was worth the price. It addressed all of the things I disliked about the old unit.

    I tend to be frugal, but will pay reasonably for value. Now that I have first hand experience with this hose reel, I'm considering buying another.

    On the fence over 3 or 4 stars... this thing does work but it isn't anywhere near as robust as it seems. Other reviews mentioned theh pin doesn't hold while reeling and this is accurate; pin should be longer. Also, the crank is not as solid as I expected... the whole reel rocks back and forth when I'm rolling up the hose.
    Full transparency- I am using a heavy guage hose at the max recommended length... your mileage may vary.
