    I wanted this style of dimmer (rotary ON/OFF, not push ON/push OFF) in order to match others in my home. Connected to a pair of BR30 11W LED lamps, the dimmer works well - no flickering, no buzzing, and a smooth transition from dim to bright. Relatively inexpensive, fits easily in a standard switch box, simple to install, and ships with three different color knobs (white, ivory, almond) - it's all that a no-frills single pole (not 3-way) dimmer should be.

    I recently installed a new LED ceiling light fixture, but my old dimmer couldn't deal with it, resulting in random flickering. Replaced the old dimmer with this one, and it did the trick. No more flicker, and now we have nice, even dimming. Easy to install, quite affordable, and nice looking. Even comes with three light knobs: white, light grey and beige.
    Just be aware that this is not the push on/off type of dimmer; you'll have to turn it down until it clicks off.

    Good bargain priced dimmer, I wanted the 1970's rotary look. Compact switch size, I have two switches in a 2-gang box with enough room for connections and a pass-thru branch. One switch controls LED an LED branch and one controls incandescents. The incandescent dim almost all they way, probably around 98%. Nice and smooth, no issues. The LED's do not dim nearly as dark, probably 90 to 95%. The LED brand I am using claims 95% dimmable so I don't know if a more expensive dimmer would go much darker. There is no flicker or buzz with either the LEDs or incandescents. Knob is twist on, NOT a push knob. Comes with three interchangeable knob colors, white, light almond and a slightly darker classic ivory.
