    Got 3 DT104 and 1 DT204, all for bathroom fans to ensure more time, up to 4 hours ( DTx04), to vent shower humidity. Wired all using option 2a as if neutral not present in box. So joining green and white together to ground. Actually using the neutral (2b) didn't work, fan timer never turned off. Easy to install. On inital power up takes 5-8 seconds to setup (might be on) then switches to default off mode.

    Note why you might want a DT204. Model 'DT1xx' means simple on/off timer switch. DT2xx means a 3-way switch (controlled by either of 2 switches). Where I live, at least one upstares bathroom fan MUST have a 3-way switch controlled downstairs to vent smoke (kitchen/fireplace). So I needed one DT204 also for that one bathroom. Was also simple.

    It is still a deep switch to fit in the box, but not as deep any many.

    The description said it didn’t need 3 wires, but it had 3 wires plus ground. The work around was to connect neutral and ground together (according to the instructions) which should work in most cases but I was using this switch for a bathroom fan that was protected by a GFI which doesn’t like it when the ground and neutral touch. I had to send it back.

    Super easy to use. I have it controlling a whole house fan and it's just what I needed. There is a quiet little click when the relay clicks on or off, but that's actually good it means they are using a reliable physical relay not a solid state relay, which don't take well to high current loads. It's much a better user interface than mechanical timers which you have to twist against spring resistance to start or stop. If you need a precise time like 37 minutes this isn't for you, but if you just need to run something for an hour or two or four it's one button press and you're done. The LED light is maybe too bright if it's in a bedroom and pointed toward where you sleep, but in hallway, kitchen, or bathroom it's perfect. Only quirk is when the power goes out then comes back on, it activates for a few seconds then shuts off.

    I have these all over my house. Closets, pantry, max 15 min. Outside front door lights, max 12 hours. Other rooms.. you get it the idea. Great way to save electricity, you know it will turn off eventually if you forget to turn it off. I have read many reviews that mention "no constant on". THERE IS AN OVERRIDE TO ALL OF THESE SWITCHES -- Hold down the topmost button for several seconds and the switch will turn on and the topmost button will blink. The switch will then stay on for 24 hours. Also many people mention they use this for a bathroom fan -- Leviton also makes a switch specifically for a bathroom fan that senses the humidity and turns on and off automatically based on humidity level. I installed one and it is wonderful.
