    I LOVE this movie! Not the first buddy cop movie ever, but arguably the greatest. Richard Donner's direction is fantastic, great shot composition, great pacing. Shane Black's script and dialogue are fun and clever, with some dark touches to give it some real punch. Mel Gibson's performance here is still one of the best of his career. But the star of the movie is the chemistry between Gibson and Glover. Watching these two learn to work together, respect each other and become true partners and best friends is why this movie is the best of it's genre. It feels so genuine. Any two other actors, we definitely wouldn't have had sequels, and I doubt anyone would even still talk about it. But these two together elevated the material, which already had a great director and a great script. The 4k transfer looks great, I upgraded from the bluray. If you love this movie, add it to your collection.

    Lethal Weapon on 4K was everything I hoped it would be & more ! 4k transfer I give it 4.8 movie 5/5 sound 5/5 gotta be the best buddy cop film ever made! They just don’t make em like they used to. Everything is executed with such perfection compared to today’s overrated films. So much junk film out there today.
    70’s 80’s & early 90’s was the best era for Hollywood movies hands down! The creativity & scripts today are just non existent aside from a few films. So much bad acting terrible scripts with actors only hired for their looks which is appalling! Hollywood needs to focus on skill & not one’s appearance. Id rather watch Gary Busey & Danny Glover anyday at least over 90% of today’s actors . Dynamite cast !! Highly recommend ! & yes it came with a slick slip! Enjoy folks 😉
