5 out of 5 stars
Large scale it’s easier to read and connects to your phone.
This scale is large enough to handle larger body people but that’s not why I got it. I got it because it’s also easier to read and my parents find it helps because their eyesight is not the best. I also like that it’s white and blends in into a bathroom setting better. Having it connect your phone is also cool.

- Reviewed in Canada on March 18, 2025This is an attractive and well made bathroom scale, with the ability to Bluetooth connect to an app on your phone and log a history of weight and BMI readings there (very handy for tracking your progress over time). It has a bright and clear display, and comes with a decent user manual and a Quick Start guide.
The scale can be configured to use metric or imperial units (and can switch between them depending on the phone it is connected to e.g. if you and you wife wanted to use different units). The app (ViHealth) seems to function fairly well, and the pairing process (of your scale to the app) is fairly painless. I tested weighing against 2 other scales. All were within 1lb of each other, and I trust the other scales – so I think accuracy was good.
For logging the weight/BMI readings, the scale uses the approximate weight to determine who is being weighed. There appear to be 2 ways to set up multiple users to use the scale: [a] the ViHealth app can be configured to handle multiple people, or [b] each user can install the ViHealth app on their own phone.
When using [a], you have to select the correct user on the app. If you do not have the correct user selected, the app will warn you if the measured weight is too different from the previous measurement. You then have to choose to assign it to the current user (“mine”) or to not assign it (“not mine”). You have the option elsewhere in the app to assign any previously un-assigned measurements to the correct user. It would have been nicer if the app picked the likeliest user at the time of weighing (and perhaps just got you to confirm).
If using [b], this does not always work reliably if more than one phone is in the vicinity of the scale. As far as I could tell, the scale did not always connect to the correct phone (it would have been nice if – based on the weight reading – the scale BT connected to the correct phone; however, this was not necessarily the case). If connected to the wrong phone, you would get the prompt (as in case [a]) if the weight was too different.
Note: I only tested this with Android (not iOS) devices.
Something else I did not like was that the QR code (to get the app) in the documentation takes you to a site that attempts to download an “.apk” file (an Android app file). It should have simply linked to the appropriate Google Play store page. I suggest you search in the app store for “vihealth” rather than installing the apk file (it is generally safer to go through the official app store when installing anything on your phone).
Overall, I really like this scale. However, 1 star off because I think using it with multiple people could be a lot better.

- Reviewed in Canada on May 25, 2025The Lepulse 550lb Digital Bathroom Scale is a very good scale.
Noteworthy is the construction. It is very well made. T's larger than average scales, which makes it easier to step onto. The 500lb limit is more than I weigh but being able to measure that much is also a welcome option.
The scale also measures BMI (Body Mass Index) which is very useful for health assessment.
The scale can be connected to an app via Bluetooth, but I prefer not to go online with any device. I prefer "offline" use.
The Lepulse 550lb Digital Bathroom Scale measures accurately in imperial as well as metric units(kg), and is very well constructed. The convenience4 of being Bluetooth connected via an app is an added feature but not of interest my me.
A very good scale.
I'd recommend this simply based on size, capacity, and construction. ⭐👍🏽
- Reviewed in Canada on February 25, 2025At the time this scale by ‘Lepulse’ is $60 – which feels like a fair price to me.
The scale looks good and works great. It’s heavy duty, yet not overly heavy and is very sturdy/stable feeling. The LCD screen is large and has good contrast, plus has an audible cue and locks in the weight for a bit after, so it’s good for the average person and great for someone with lower vision/older individuals.
I don’t realize how uneven my floors are until I go to use a scale. Press on the corners gently to make sure it’s not rocking at all. If I have any unevenness this scale was giving me a bit of variability in my weight (as does my old scale), but on an even surface it reads quickly and is consistently accurate (I tested with body weight and down to a 15lb dumbbell and it was perfectly accurate across several floor types (as long as the scale was on even footing).
The scale seems very durable and can apparently hold up to 550lb’s, which means I could weigh my whole family at once with it, so it’s incredibly overbuilt (though I guess the sad fact is that some people do need this..), but short of stacking half my gym weights on this, I can’t really test that claim.
So for how I’m going to use it, I actually love it and am replacing my older ‘Withings’ scale that was twice the price with this. I would recommend.
As to the app – which I don’t care about.
It does have an app it can sync to, but I’m not going to test this. I’m tired of my health data going to who knows where and being spread across 10 random companies. If my weight was simply kept locally on a simple app, great, but the instructions say you have to sign up for an account and ‘the more information you give the better’… I don’t think it can sync to another app (though am not completely certain yet), but if I could pair this into whatever I am already using like Apple health (not as if that’s a ton better), that would at least make this side of the scale better.
- Reviewed in Canada on May 3, 2025I got this scale because I wanted something with a higher weight capacity and a wider platform, and it’s been doing exactly what I needed. It feels strong and stable when standing on it, and the large backlit display is easy to see. The 8mm tempered glass looks clean and is easy to wipe off. It connects to the app without issues and tracks my weight and BMI over time, which makes it easier to follow progress. The readings have been consistent each time I use it and the app is simple to navigate. It’s a good fit for anyone looking for a basic smart scale that’s easy to use.
