Our entire home is made up of smart lights. We find this to be a power-saving thing as well as a great way to control all of the lighting in our home. The only place that we did not have smart bulbs was outside in the front of our home, under the eaves. We have some pot lights there, so we needed BR30 bulbs, and these are the perfect size. The lights arrived well packaged in a giftable box. These are the BR2 bulbs by LEPRO. The description on the product page says BR1, but these are definitely BR2, and you need to know that when adding the bulbs to the app. You need to load the LEPRO app onto your phone, and they provide a QR code that will take you to the appropriate app. You do need to register with LEPRO, which is simple. The app installs perfectly, and you just put your bulbs in the socket and add them by following the instructions on the app. I suggest you add them 1 at a time, or you may get confused about which one you are adding. I gave all of my bulbs the names "outside 1", "outside 2", "outside 3", and "outside 4". I then grouped the 4 lights on the app into the "outside group". This way, you can control all the lights all at once or one at a time. The app is very good and makes a solid connection to the bulbs. From the app, I was able to pair it to my Google Home so I can use Google voice control. This was flawless. I initially ignored the instructions and tried to pair by adding LEPRO to my Google Home Assistant from the GOOGLE app, and it got hung up. Using the LEPRO app went much better. I guess I should follow the instructions. Once everything is paired and connected, you can turn the lights on and off, change the colors, and dim them, all with your voice and Google Home Assistant. The app, however, provides infinite control over the lights. There are some amazing scenes they provide, and you can create your own scenes and effects using the AI function of these lights. The possibilities are endless. I am going to be changing the light effects for different seasons. For example, at Christmas, I can make them flash red and green. For Halloween, I can make them flash purple and orange. I have used a lot of smart bulbs, and some of them are very difficult to use. Often, companies rely on 3rd party apps to make their lights work, but LEPRO uses its own app, making things go very smoothly. I am very happy with these lights. The price for the lights is a lot lower than I would expect. I do recommend these smart AI lights.
