    overall quality of the laptop seems very good. delivery was quick (I am amazon prime member, so I get 1-day delivery). the specs of the laptop are just spot on for my usage, not too heavy as most games laptop. with 8 GB RAM and 500 HDD , although no HDMI (I was looking for SSD, but have to settle with HDD due to price). With $400 you get a good bargain. I would have given 5-stars if not because of the wifi problem at first. It was lagging, intermittently disconnected, very slow speed. I have a good and stable speed at home. So I have to dig the internet for almost 1 hour to find out that new driver for the wifi adaptor should solve the problem, else it would have been a hardware problem. Fingers crossed, I downloaded the driver (mind you, because of the wifi problem, it took forever to download a small size driver). Waited patiently, downloaded the driver, and installed it. It solved the wifi problem, and the laptop as of today (1 day after receiving it), functioning good, and meets my expectation of a refurbished sub $400 laptop with good specs.

    Most of what I do on a laptop deals with browsing the web, word processing, and hobby image processing/programming. This does all of that more than adequately, it's a very reliable machine, it works well with Linux(I used Ubuntu). It's strong enough for all of that. I really never saw any bottlenecks other than when I had some complicated things in visual studio(windows forms app, lots of controls).

    if your needs are basic, this thing should be more than enough. Huge bonus points for it having the touch-point(huge ergonomic boost after you get accustomed.) and for the removable battery, which means that if and when it goes bad, you can find one for very reasonable prices here on amazon(aftermarket, but they are fine.)

    It’s a cheap laptop, so it is reasonable to not be the best. I am annoyed though because when I play some games that are high intensity and high graphics, they laptop does very well. Sometimes though I will play very simple games with low graphics or low intensity and my entire game will crash and computer will freeze. Very unreliable in that department, but expected.

    As for typing and screen and everything else; it’s fine. It’s slow which is more irritating since I’m use to a faster laptop, but again, does the job. I recommend it if you just need a laptop but if you also don’t care if something happens to it.
