    This hard shell carrying case provided by LEKUFEE is a simple tab snap lock case with foam filling, designed predominantly for DJI's Mic or Mic Mini product. Although the sizes are a bit different for each of these mics, it can be customized pretty easily to contain all the appropriate accessories just by arranging the insert pieces.

    A hard case is really the way to go when you want to protect your creative investments, and this one seems to be no exception. The brand seems to understand how to make them well, and offers a wide variety of cases for specific needs; they are all built pretty standard as far as hard cases go — it's really what is inside that matters.

    The suggested inserts are designed specifically for the product in mind, but you can still use them for just about anything. If you wanted to, you could easily remove the inserts entirely, interchange them, or replace with new foam, cut to whatever product you choose, to keep pretty much anything safe from damage.

    The case seals nicely with the mentioned locking clips, and it's a tough product certainly build to last all manner of conditions and abuse you can throw at it. I cannot recommend a product like this enough if you are serious about keeping your creative tools safe and sound when not in use. 5 stars.

    The case feels solid and well built. The materials are good, and the pre-cut foam does a good job at holding everything in place.
    On the negative side there are a couple of things that could have made it better. There are four molded spots underneath that look like they were designed for non-slip pads, but they didn’t include any. It seems like something that was planned and then left out. It would help keep the case from sliding around.
    There’s also a keyhole on the front, but there’s no key and no actual lock inside. So I’m not sure why it’s there.
    Otherwise it is a good case, everything fits nicely and feels protected.

    The cutouts are for the cases and a lavalier mic OR everything without the cases. If you wanted to pack one charging case and put the RX/TX in the cutout spaces it doesn't quite work.

    Example: A DJI Mic Mini charging case has a slot that fits it perfectly. If you want to store the RX/TX out of charging case, the only available cutouts are the larger ones for the DJI Mic sized RX/TX so they wouldn't have a secure fit. The work around would be putting the Mic mini case in the longer Mic cutout to leave the Mini spaces free to use.

    Unfortunately this workaround doesn't work for the larger Mic case and RX/TX. The charging case slot will fit but the Mic RX/TX would have to go in the Mini slots which are too narrow and small to fit. You could replace the foam with a new one and cut it to fit everything properly but the extra effort and expense might be more than the price of the case.

    The case itself is lightweight (compared to a Pelican) and dust proof however I wouldn't trust that it would keep water out if it was dropped into a river. There was a strong chemical smell so left it open overnight and the next day the smell was gone. The clips are very hard to open and close. The included lanyard and carabiner are a nice touch.

    What a nice little storage box for my DJI gear.

    It comes with form specific foam inside of it that you can break away for all the components you want to store it safely without worrying about them, banging around or rattling inside the box.
    The box also has a nice rubber gasket seal across the top so when you close it, it is watertight. I tested this by submersing it in a tub of water for a few minutes and there was no water ingress so to me that’s a win the things we protect with these boxes are so valuable we must Check claims of waterproof each time..

    Very happy with this storage case it’s going to make things easier versus carrying around a bunch of different mesh bags that had all my equipment in it previously.

    The case is very sturdy and has nice cutouts in the foam for fitting my items. Theres also a rubber gasket to help with sealing and a foam attachment on the top. The bottom foam can come out and Im planning to make my own cutout for other items that need to be protected in a bag

    At first I wasn't sure if I was going to like this case, because while I have the DJI Mic 2 dual mic set, that came with the charging case, I only have one Mic Mini, and no charging case. So I was not sure how useful it would be since I have both of those mics. However, they include a paper inside that when you flip it over, shows the Mics in cases, and the other side shows them without cases. So all you do is pluck the precut foam to meet your needs, whether you have a charging case or not. That means I can use my single mic and transmitter for the Mini, and the case for the Mic 2, and keep them protected together inside this hard case. Pretty neat. The case is pretty solid plastic, and the mics fit inside really well. I think there could be a little more room for the cables and such, but it all works and keeps the mics protected, so I really like this case.

    This could've been a good case but there's just a lot of unfortunate little decisions with this case that add up.

    First is the smoothness of the plastic. It's just way too smooth. Makes it harder to grip onto, which is not what I want from a hard case.

    Second is the lid. The lid is heavy and has no stop like many other cases. So it just flings all the way around until it hits the case on the other side. Makes it real top heavy.

    Third is the clasps. They are really tough to get open. Once they do open, the case starts opening on its own as the case doesn't really stay closed unless you push down on it.

    All these problems combining together, I can see disaster happening in so many ways and this just slipping out of your hands. Hard cases are supposed to minimize the chances of disaster not add new ways for it to occur. for that I have docked two stars.

    At least this case seems well prepared for disaster. It is nice and rigid all around. And the inside is a whole nother story. With the foam being just about ideal. It has a nice tight fit and is solid, but still with a nice amount of give to absorb shock. And it has good coverage from all angles.

    Also it arrived with a noticeable plastic offgassing smell. I've only had this case a few hours so far so who knows how long it will take for the smell to clear up.

    This case is pretty good but it's a little less solid than I expected it to be. It's fairly hard on top and bottom but the zipper area has a thick, soft area that makes it seem wobbly.
    It does fit my two mini mics and all of the accessories though, so that's a win.
    Worth it for the price.

The mini pack goes on the left side while the Mic 2 goes on the right side of the case. The foam pieces can be removed and replaced at any time, making this a very user-friendly and adaptable case for those on the go with their DJI Mics. The case is well built with its rubber gasket that surrounds the opening, keeping it weather-sealed for those wet trips. Everything fits perfectly inside, and with the added carabiner and tether, you should be able to easily attach this to your gear on the go.

    This is another great Lukefee case. I got this to hold my wireless transmitters and they work great and fit well. The size is perfect to fit in my backpack without taking up my whole bag.
