The quality of this sensory sand table for such an economical price point is excellent. This sensory table has been well designed keeping functionality and sensory play in mind. Great care has been taken to provide a table that is versatile. It can be used with or without the detachable legs so that the little ones can be either sitting on the floor or at a table for quiet play or standing. It's an ideal height for toddlers. This table can be used with the included sand or with water or nothing at all. With accessories stored inside and the lid placed on top this table can also be used as a desk or play table.
The quality of the build of the table and accessories is very good. It feels sturdy and durable. The table has also been designed so that the interior serves as a storage area for the accessories when not in use, that includes the legs. Once the table is closed up it is a compact rectangle that easily slides under a sofa, chair or bed for convenient storage. It's also sized so that it would just as easily store on a closet shelf.
The accessories included are ideal for fun sand play, there are accessories to build a castle and others to create a fun track for the construction vehicles. I think what I appreciate the most is that sand is included, everything needed for immediate play as soon as this kit is opened has been included.
My only minor critique is that while the lid sits into the top of the bin it doesn't have a latch or anything to hold it in place. Since the lid is thin and lightweight it doesn't always stay in place. While in use I simply place an item on top to weight it down, when not in use and I want to store this away, I use some oversized elastics, alternatively you can use the original box. This isn't a deal breaker but with the addition of some way to latch the top this would be a perfect item.
