    This extra-deep wiremold box was not available in my local big-box home improvement stores. I used this as a free standing enclosure for an over-sized timer. I wanted additional space to connect power cords (in and out). Since it was not mounted on the wall, I wanted few/no holes in the back/bottom of the box. There are a few holes and slits, but they're small. I covered those with a piece of thick felt which prevent the edges from scratching the furniture. I'd use this again as an electronics enclosure.
