I bought this kit to do some repairs and they seem to be holing up will. The waxed thread seems strong (I couldn’t break it) and the needles did the job for my application. So far my repair is holding up well. 4/5 stars because there is not much thread on the spool as it is quite thick.

    The needles from the kit are pretty good and I can use them for a lot of mending projects. I wasn’t happy with the thread, though. It felt too waxy and when it bends in any way the wax just breaks off in messy pieces. When I opened the kit it also had a strong chemical smell that wasn’t pleasant. I ended up using regular strong cotton thread to fix a pair of boots instead of this. It also only comes with two dark brown and two black thread, having a medium brown would be better. Overall I wouldn’t buy this again, unfortunately!
