- Reviewed in Canada on July 9, 2025Verified PurchaseI recently got the LeapFrog Peppa Pig USB game for my little one, and it’s been a hit! Plug-and-play is super easy—no fussing around. The colorful graphics and Peppa’s familiar voice really pull kids in, and the learning activities (letters, numbers, spotting differences) are simple but effective for toddlers. It’s a nice mix of fun and education. My kid loves it, and I love that it keeps them engaged without screen time worries. Definitely worth it!

- Reviewed in Canada on November 1, 2023I decided to get this product for my niece since she really likes Peppa Pig. Also, I was pretty curious about what the game would look like since it is made by a well known brand for their educational toys.
Included in the box is a HDMI dongle that contains the whole game that you plug directly into your tv, a wireless controller for the game (needs 2x AA batteries that are not included) a USB cable that you have to plug from the USB port of your TV or from another power source into the HDMI dongle, and a user guide. The installation process is pretty easy. You install the HDMI dongle in the TV, plug the USB cable from the tv to the dongle and switch the controller on, that’s it. On the controller, there is a D-Pad, an A button that is mainly for actions, a B button that acts as a cancel or back button, a home button that sends you back to the main menu and a ? button that is used to read the instructions out loud again.
In the game itself, there is a choice of 5 different profile/save slots. On the main menu, you can either start the story mode, or choose the game you want via the quick play option. If you choose the story mode, the game is split into 15 days with multiple games per day. Depending on how successful you are at playing the game, you will be awarded a trophy score that goes up to 3. There are a total of 8 different games that have different levels given at random. Some of the games have a difficulty selection that you can choose between 1 and 3.
The games are pretty varied. There is a dance game, a boat game, a cleaning game, a cooking game and more. There are no games where you have to do the same thing, so this is great. All of the games have an education value or motor skill/hand/eye coordination.
All in all, for the price of about 55$, I highly recommend it. I think the replay value is really great and will keep your kids entertained for hours.

- Reviewed in Canada on December 26, 2024Verified PurchaseThis is the second chance I gave leapfrog. I bought the abc version a few years ago and leapfrog had to send me a whole new replacement because the first one stopped working. Then the replacement stopped working too. so I bought this one for my daughter for Christmas. She got to use it one time. Now it won’t connect at all. Waste of money and I’m truly pissed off that I wasted money on this brands product again. It was wishful thinking that they would upgrade their game to not have these same issues for their customers. #NOTHAPPY

5.0 out of 5 stars Expensive was the cuteness and engagement surpasses the expense
Verified PurchaseIt’s expensive but well worth the money paid. We originally got the Paw Patrol game (also a great video game). The way the pad controller is set up is absolutely perfect for my 4 year old. I only had to show her one time and she figured it out with easy. It is the perfect size without too many buttons. It works perfect on any HDMI screen and really fun to play. There’s also lots of different levels (even on the Paw Patrol one). My 4 year old is still challenged with some levels no matter how many times she replays a level. Especially the level you have to connect the path for Peppa. It not only teaches how to fit a puzzle, but helps count. And not just to 10, it will continue up from 11 on with the next puzzle path. My 4 year old especially loves keeping the balloons off the ground and into the baskets. It’s very cute to watch her so engaged. Well worth the cost.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simple and Easy
Verified PurchaseSuper easy to set up and use. Little girl just turned 4 and it’s simple enough that with a little bit of my help in the beginning showing her how to use the controller she’s pretty much got it down on her own now. Very fun for her, she always sees me playing games so it makes her happy to be able to also!
