    I can't quite get this to be perfectly sealed from leaks while trying to pump the anti-freeze through my trailer but that could just be the pressure of the run. The little bit that it leaks isn't a big deal especially since I do it from outside the trailer anyway.

    The RV Antifreeze Pump Kit Leakproof RV Winterization Liquid Transfer Pump is a practical tool for occasional liquid transfer, particularly for RV winterization. While it’s marketed primarily for pumping RV antifreeze, it can handle other liquids as well.

    The pump is self-priming, but it’s quite slow to start until a sufficient amount of liquid fills the intake hose. Even after priming, the flow rate remains modest due to the pump’s small stroke size. Additionally, operating the pump becomes more tiring as the fluid level increases, making it a bit challenging to transfer more than a gallon of liquid without fatigue.

    When the pump arrived, some assembly was required. The hoses were kinked from packaging, though not damaged. You may need to warm the hoses to remove the kinks effectively. Attaching the hose adapters to the pump and securing the hoses to the adapters required a bit of effort, but the rest of the assembly process was straightforward.

    While this pump isn’t the most efficient or durable option, it works for its price. For occasional use, such as RV winterization, it gets the job done. However, if you need a transfer pump for frequent or heavy-duty use, you might want to consider a more robust alternative.
