    の园"という名の旅馆に留まり、二人を养子にします。ムチエは家に
    帰ります。戦争が始まり、ムチエは庇护者と养子にした母亲のそばに
    居て、フランス歩兵のズアーヴ兵士として参加します。
    捕虏となったドゥラキヌ将军の命を助けて、それの感谢の証拠として
    親切にもエルフィとの結婚申し込みを許されます。 その後、ドゥラキネ
    将军に勧められ、子供达に付いてるデリニはブリド妇人に结婚を申し
    込みます。ジャックとポールの父亲は奇跡的に、最后の方に再び现れ
    るが、良い籤を曳いたと思ったが、反対に徴兵の犠牲者です。逃亡兵
    として、子供达の前で宪兵に逮捕されます。ムチエは勲章に覆われて
    クリミアから帰るが、结婚するには余りにも贫乏のままです。

    子供の為か、当时写真技术の発展で民众に有名になったクリミア戦争
    を背景に话しは进みます。ガリポリのコレラの伝染で何千の死者が出た
    事、アルマの戦い、セバストポリの包囲、最も激しい戦争の一つ、バラクラバ、
    インケルマン、マラコフの戦いを描きます。そこではムチエ军曹配下の各
    兵士は英雄です、ムチエはパリ市民には贵重なズアーヴの英雄像です。

    Mme la Comtesse de Ségur has written here a very simple story, reading like a fairy tale, it is yes, a good book for learning intermediary French, the story taking only a few hours of entertaining time. Faith in God is present in every page, Christian charity well portrayed, nobleness of character, the ins and out of life in a little village in the country, the setting is highly pastoral and enchanting. There is a nostalgia of times gone by lingering when we close this little tale, and the desire to read the second book: General Dourakine (also free) and, why not, all the books of this highly praised author, which Arvensa Editions proposes for the little sum of $1.99.
