The packaging was crap, it came all wrinkled and I was ready to throw it in the garbage because I thought the wrinkle would show... but I paid so much money for it I had to try. I measured and cut it to fit my 15.6" laptop and it was easy to adhere and it looks great. I do think it's way too expensive for a blank sticker.

If you still have your good skills learned in elementary school with paper crafting in arts class then cutting and trimming this to custom fit any and up to 16" laptops is a breeze if not fun! I had no issue doing this for my 11" laptop. Came out perfect down to the top edge curves.

    Ruined mine because you have to trim it yourself and if you dont have a smooth razor, you’re gonna ruin it. Id recommend not buying one unless its pre-trimmed to 15.6 inches. Which this one is not.

    I have an old 15” Lenovo Thinkpad with a badly aged top cover, and bought the plain black version of this vinyl cover on a whim: it was completely worth it to not feel gross each time I pick the poor old machine up. After cleaning as suggested, I was able to get the vinyl skin on my laptop with only a few false starts — the skin is fairly forgiving, as it’s sticking impeccably even after I peeled it back and re-stuck it a couple times. I did have to trim the edge slightly as the skin is slightly larger than my thinkpad’s top (about a half inch), but it’s still a much better fit than I expected for under $10. I got it today and bought a second skin for any potential future repairs, if needed.
