When I was looking up the Lamicall Gooseneck phone holder on �鶹��, one of the reviews mentions that the clip and the actual gooseneck form may have been a little bit wobbly - or not strong enough.

However, at first glance and trying to adjust the gooseneck, it seems pretty stiff to me.Therefore it should do a pretty good job of holding the phone for what I need - to record and review these products.

It's most likely not going to hold an extended foldable phone. You may need to check the dimensions of your new large phones; the clamp fits a Pixel 7 phone just right, but the older style XL phones might just fit. So, that's something that you need to look out for.

The table/bed clamp mechanism. Is quite adjustable and I like how it has a very easy twist-action mechanism for tightening - you’ll have to twist quite a bit to get to a couple of inches of play to clamp on to the bed or desk.

The ‘usable’ gooseneck is probably about a foot and a half high where you can get a sustainable arch to hold up your phone. If you want to film things or record things that are up on your desk, But if you are using it to watch a video or to have it out in front of you, while you're on the bed or sitting down, then you’d probably have to ensure that you sit within a foot of your clamping position to make watching/using your phone properly - otherwise it's going to be too close to your head. However, that’s probably not going to be an issue if you don't care if you go blind :).

To film products, or take pictures, or scan paperwork, e-depositing cheques, etc. it will work out just great. You should make sure that your table or platform is free from shaking. Otherwise, your camera will tend to go in-and-out of focus.

It's a pretty good product. I'd recommend that you get something like this based on the pricing for it. It looks like it's going to last quite a while. I'm happy that it can be used to do more product reviews, like this. _AutomateAlan

The ‘usable’ gooseneck is probably about a foot and a half high where you can get a sustainable arch to hold up your phone. If you want to film things or record things that are up on your desk, But if you are using it to watch a video or to have it out in front of you, while you're on the bed or sitting down, then you’d probably have to ensure that you sit within a foot of your clamping position to make watching/using your phone properly - otherwise it's going to be too close to your head. However, that’s probably not going to be an issue if you don't care if you go blind :).

To film products, or take pictures, or scan paperwork, e-depositing cheques, etc. it will work out just great. You should make sure that your table or platform is free from shaking. Otherwise, your camera will tend to go in-and-out of focus.

It's a pretty good product. I'd recommend that you get something like this based on the pricing for it. It looks like it's going to last quite a while. I'm happy that it can be used to do more product reviews, like this. _AutomateAlan

Update: I’ve had this now for awhile now and it hasn’t gone wrong once. I think some of these might be breaking because people are bending the arm without unscrewing the handle thing on the arm first. I’ve adjusted mine many times and to pack it up in my backpack when I leave I have it folded right tight in as small as shape it’ll go and after unscrewing the handle it does it easily with no issues. I agree with users who say it moves when you are doing something on your phone but it’s not that bad. Besides, if you’re going to be constantly monkeying around with your phone then you shouldn’t need it put in a holder like this one. It would actually be a hindrance to using the phone if it was put in a holder. So for the odd time where you have to touch the phone then a little wiggle from the arm isn’t a big deal. Anyway just as when I first used it I would still highly recommend this fantastically helpful and well designed phone holder/clamp. Oh I just wanted to point out that the mounting clamp on the bottom opens wide enough that I can clamp it on a hospital bed! So it opens really wide and tightens enough that it won’t fall off. This type of product is great for people who are disabled like myself. It’s made my life much easier and has stopped the endless sore necks from having to twist my head in ways so I could see my phone. So if you have a loved one or friend that’s disabled this phone holder could be right for them. Well I hope you like it as much as I do and it’s as helpful for you as it has been for me.

Original Review: I spend a lot of time in the hospital so I needed something like this. Well I used it for the first time recently and it was perfect. It got a ton of attention from both nurses and patients. So many people could use this that a charge nurse took the details and pictures to see about the hospital ordering some. It’s so nice not having to hold your phone for hours. It’s so simple to use. Just simply turn those handle looking things and then you can bend away and the 2nd one opens the clamps and then tighten them. It opens wide too. I highly recommend this tool both because it’s incredibly handy and because it’s well made.
