I received this from my wife as a Father’s Day gift. We started off with step one, we laughed and joked and had a good time.
Level 2 I could see a tip of frustration as my blamed me for pieces in wrong place.
Level 3 clearly it was my wife putting pieces in wrong places but she continued to deny it was her.
Level 4 go back and fix level 3 before continuing. Wife now looking very annoyed at me.
Level 5 surprisingly went well.
Level 6 different story wife now not speaking to me except to say I obviously have no idea how to read and follow directions
Level 7 all hell breaks loose. Clearly I am at fault and should have allowed the ‘expert’ to do this on her own.
Level 8 she does all by herself and refuses to speak to me anymore.
Level 9 did not get finished as my wife put it back in the box and began googling divorce lawyers.
Not sure how many other levels there are as she got the titanic in the divorce
She sent me pictures and looks amazing. Great project and item. It looks really nice on her new stand. But I didn’t like the fact her new boyfriend was in the picture.

Very easy to put together, simple, clear instructions. Looks great when finished! Couple of helpful suggestions. One, the model comes with 7 blue plates that act as the base and simulate the ocean. You do not need to attach the first plate as it contains only the iceberg, which you can build last in any shape you want. also it allows you to use some of the clear pieces to make a stronger connection to the other plates than the instructions have. Second, the manufacturer gives you more of the clear red single pieces that act as windows than you need per the instructions. Count how many you have and you could use them to add extra where the model just leaves a space. Just make sure you have an equal amount for both sides. Over all an excellent model, great price and fun to do. Well worth it.

My daughter finished this in about a day and a half. I had read Cbill's review and we got some fairy lights to put in it. It is in my grandson's room and it's lit up at night for him. He loves it. She had some issues with the top most levels of it. There seemed to be a lack of support for some pieces and because they are small other pieces dropped in to the lower part because they were hard to hold on to and equally hard to fish back out. It did come with quite a few extra pieces. All in all, worth what I paid for it, for sure.

This is a very nice project. Not to complicated for beginners, very repetitive. Instructions are clear.
However, there was some pieces missing. I had to improvise (good think I’m used to legos) and use some left over pieces from previous projects. There was at least 50-75 pieces missing. Which was very frustrating.

However, note that I’ve done other projects from same brand and all was ok.

Bought as Christmas gift for 8.5 year old, wanting a model that would take some time to build and that we could do together.
When the box came and I opened it up before wrapping it, I couldn't help but laugh and wonder what I had gotten myself into.........I don't think I have ever been so scared to start a model as I was then!
Seriously, some pieces of this set are no bigger than 1/8" square and I have to use tweezers to pick up and set in place. I also recommend good lighting!
My 8.5 year old was very excited about the model when he got it, but it became pretty obvious from the get go that this would be a 90% parent and 10% kiddo. No matter how technical your kids lego set is that they can do alone, this is not for this age group in my opinion. And on that note, there are three different age+ categories listed. Personally, I would say 14+.
However, as mentioned, we are half way through or just over, and I can't get over how the company must have engineered this model and bricks. The model of the boat itself is at least 17" long. No decals, etc. to identify the boat, but you get icebergs to build!
Bottom line is recommended, but not for the faint of heart!

This is not Lego or Lego quality but not bad. The pieces are tiny. My 10 year old grandson is obsessed with all things Titanic and is very good at putting Lego sets together ie: following the directions. He spent all day building this complicated model (for his age group)... 8 hours !! and almost got it done. Couple little frustrating mistakes which he corrected but the directions are quite good. I would recommend for older kids (with patience) or for adults. It is a nice model when finished.

J'ai acheté cette marque comme alternative au lego architecture que je trouvais trop cher en rapport prix / temps de construction pour mon fils de 13 ans.

Le briques sont nettement plus petites mais ça reste tout à fait faisable et il n'y a aucun problème pour les emboîter les unes dans les autres. La petite taille des pièces et leur nombre rendent aussi le modèle précis et détaillé.

Les instructions de construction sont moins lisibles que sur un lego classique.
Ici la construction se fait en tranches. On commence par tous les blocs au niveau le plus bas, plus le niveau suivant etc sur toute la longueur du bateau un peu comme une lasagne :). Du coup parfois les instructions sont un peu confuses car sur les images il n'est pas toujours simple de distinguer les briques déjà placées de celles encore à placer. Mais ça reste tout à fait acceptable, rien de rédhibitoire à l'horizon.

Je dirais qu'on est entre un lego (pour les briques) et une maquette (vu la taille des pièces).

Je recommandais ça comme alternative vraiment intéressante au lego surtout pour ceux et celles qui aiment aussi le côté chipotage des maquettes. Le prix raisonnable vu le temps de construction est un point positif. Mais il faut donc un minimum de patience pour se lancer.
