Bulb worked fine when installed in April 2022. However today I found my system damaged as pictured. I now have to replace the entire ballast and will not use the 2nd bulb I had bought. Do not recommend. Just buy the proper rainfresh one.

    I’ll update this if they burn up fast but they seem good for now. I’m finding these only last about 3-4 months before they burn out. The actual rainfresh ones I get over a year. It’s about the same cost in the end so I’m going back to the real ones.

    I purchased this bulb back in November to keep as a spare for when my current Rainfresh bulb eventually blew. Just tried to install it and quickly realized it is not of the same quality as the OEM Rainfresh bulb. The 2 conductor wires that run the length of the bulb are spaced closely together as opposed to the Rainfresh design that places them on opposite sides of the tube, which could lead to a short. Secondly the actual bulb length was a good 2 inches shorter than the OEM bulb which meant either stretching out the OEM spring in the bottom of the tube, or leaving it hanging by the leads. The LSE unit also does not come with replacement rubber Orings as the Rainfresh unit does. But the biggest issue, as mentioned in so many other reviews that I did not see when ordering, is that the ceramic base of the bulb does not fit through the aluminium housing collar which is kinda important if you actually plan to use this for it's intended purpose. The lack of quality control speaks volumes about this product, but unfortunately, seeing as I picked it up as a spare, I cannot return it. Guess I've got a new light sabre.
