This Woputne LED Desk Lamp really caught me off guard—in the best way. I’ve been using it daily for the past week, and it’s easily one of the best desk lamps I’ve had in a while, both in design and functionality.
Let’s start with what makes it stand out: this thing is wide. With a dual-head, 24-inch span, it easily covers my whole desk. Whether I’m working on my computer, sketching, or reading, the lighting is evenly spread with no shadows or hot spots. I also use it to give some extra light to a few of my plants that require a boost, and in this category, it works really well with its unlimited adjustability.
You get five color temperatures to choose from, ranging from a warm 3000K to a crisp daylight 6500K. Combine that with ten levels of brightness, and you’ve got total control over how your workspace feels. I find myself using the warm tones for winding down and the cool whites when I need to focus in.
The remote's touch controls are super intuitive—just tap or slide to adjust. It even remembers your last setting so you're not constantly reprogramming it. There’s also a 30-minute auto-off timer that’s perfect for late-night sessions when I tend to forget to shut things down. It also has a sensor on top of the light, if you want to turn it on or off, just wave your hand above the top and walah, no touchy its on (or off)!!
The bendable design is another bonus. The adjustable arm rotates and bends any way I need it, so I can dial in the exact angle and height.
Build quality is solid, and it stays cool to the touch. At only 12 watts, it's energy-efficient but still throws out a ton of light—960 lumens, to be exact. And it’s flicker-free, so it’s easy on the eyes even after long hours of use. Something I did find that does NOT work is the magnetic holder for the remote control; it says you can simply attach the remote to the stand's post by magnets, but when I do this, the remote just slides down the shaft. No biggy, but still it's an issue.
