First one purchased the strap broke before it could even be used. Returned it and bought another. This one lasted one month before it broke the plastic. No stone , it just broke out a giant hole. Tied it on to finish the job. See pic. I am looking for another manufacturer.
Complete waste of money. I should have known when it didn't seem to fit correctly on my S240. I've been buying these mulch deck covers for years at the big box store. This was definitely priced right for two which was 1/2 the normal price for one. The first one lasted two mowings on my 1.5 acres and suddenly it was sucked into the blades. I figured i had hit a rock or stick but when I went to remove it, I found the rivet was gone. That was aggravating but had the second one, so I installed that, and it just didn't fit right. Like it was 9/10's the size it was supposed to be. So, I looked at several YouTubes to be sure I wasn't doing anything wrong as it should be pretty straight forward right? Well, as I went to hook the clip in , the strap came off the chut cover. As I looked at it to see what happened, I see that the rubber bungy is connected with a press in rivet and the two halves just came apart. They are so cheap you can't press them back so its off to the Big Box and hope to get two or three seasons out of my next one.
