Product description
The Kryptonite Transit FlexFrame U-lock bracket mounts quickly and easily and support the transportation of the most common U-lock sizes. In the early 1970s, Michael Zane was a free-spirited, bearded kid with a VW van and a big idea for a new kind of lock. He traveled thousands of miles showing the unique U-shaped locking device and spreading his passion for bicycle security to bike dealers all around the country and forged lifetime relationships. The company soon expanded its product line to include powersports, hardware and snowsports security.

- Reviewed in Canada on June 1, 2023Verified PurchaseI have a CCM u-lock that originally came with just a cheap plastic mount, which broke off in pretty short order. I ordered this to replace it, fairly confident it would fit my lock, but not 100% sure. The gamble paid off, because it fits perfectly with the larger of the two splines included, once the hex screw is tightened in place. If you have what you believe to be a standard sized u-lock that isn't Kryptonite brand, this is probably a safe bet.
- Reviewed in Canada on July 20, 2023Verified PurchaseI had been carrying my kryptonite on my backpack for too long. It was hard to find these retail. So glad I bought this. Now my bag isn’t nearly as heavy and my lock can come with me even when I don’t need a bag.
Goes on easy enough but you might need to adjust post washing your bike or after some rain.

- Reviewed in Canada on May 20, 2025Verified PurchaseIt cannot be secured to my bike. You can just use straps/velcros if your bike has a rack.
- Reviewed in Canada on June 3, 2023Verified PurchaseI was so pleased to find that I could replace the mounting bracket for my decades-old Kryptonite U-lock. It's refreshing to find a company that provides support for their products for such a long time. The original bracket had a hard plastic restraining strap that broke when shaken to bits while I was riding over some of the roughest, most neglected pavement in the city. (I'm lucky to still have my teeth after that ride.) The only problem I have with this new bracket is that the "soft strap system" did not stay in place on my seat tube, which is tapered. The installation instructions warn against overtightening lest the tube be crushed, so I could not prevent the bracket from sliding downward and then rotating sideways. I've relocated the bracket to the down tube, which is not tapered, and it has stayed in place. I had to change the shackle on my lock, using one supplied in the kit. That was very simple and easy to do. Very happy with this purchase.

- Reviewed in Canada on December 6, 2021Verified PurchaseNice to know I could get a new bike mount without having to buy a whole new lock. This is from Kryptonite and every bit as good as the one that came originally with lock.
- Reviewed in Canada on September 8, 2021Verified PurchaseI tried a cheaper U-bracket lock carrier that only lasted a month.
Kryptonite Transfit FlexFrame-U Bracket is well made and works with the Kryptonite U lock.
- Reviewed in Canada on February 5, 2025Verified PurchaseThe thing will just spin about any of the tubes you put it in. It is absolutely crap and makes for a very sketchy bike experience. A very very obvious worse product than the one that came with your lock that held with SCREWS.
Do not buy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nicht perfekt - aber alternativlos ist die
Verified PurchaseKryptonite Flex Frame Schlosshalterung.

5.0 out of 5 stars Support super robuste
Verified PurchaseSupport super robuste.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simple install
Verified PurchaseI have a Kryptonite lock on one of my bikes, and decided to swap it between my city bikes and my gravel bike. This made it simple. Each bike has a different mounting angle, so having the extra connector was a big plus. I was able to mount a connector on each side of the U.
