I have purchased this stevia a few times and have never had an issue with the product. However, I was filling up my sugar container this morning and when I opened up my sealed bag of stevia I noticed there were several black specks in the sugar. I fished them out to take a closer look and saw that they look like little spiders. I'm quite particular about keeping foods fresh and air-tight in their packaging so I assume there was no issue of the bag not being closed properly while storing it. This could be an isolated incident but I'm a bit hesitant to reorder. I will be throwing out the bag of stevia in case these little hitch hikers laid eggs in the sugar. (gross!)

    Nuthin’ tastes like real sugar, but real sugar slowly kills ya . . .LOL. I’m fighting type 2 diabetes so all processed “yum yums”, white sugar, white flour, white rice, and so forth had to go! The Krisda granulated stevia is not bad, but compared to real sugar, it’s WAY OVERPRICED. Gougy buzzards! I detest “supply and demand” gouging.

    I usually buy PC brand Stevia but we live out of town and I ran out. This bag was alot smaller and more expensive than the pc brand. It has the consistency of sugar and the taste. If you are looking for a sugar substitute that tastes the same then this is your product. I prefer the lighter stevia myself.

    It took me a while to get used to it but it's the only sweetener i use in my coffee now. I used half sugar and half Krisda then switched to 100% Krisda. It's pricey in Canadian dollars but it's not bad for you like sugar so it's worth it.
