Gudrun Kristin Magnusdottir (1939) is born in Reykjavik, Iceland. She is an awarded author of books, scripts, and design. She is a ceramist, and illustrator, holding an art-school degree. Gudrun has a diploma in manuscript-writing. Her main subject in high-school was economy, in university it was pedagogy. Gudrun has, from early childhood, made stories and poems, and illustrated them. Gudrun was a model in her teens, has worked in movies, TV, radio, and on stage. Many things contribute to her deep insight: For example, * her adventurous life since childhood, * delightful parents and families, * work on farms, boats and ships, - and then to the extreme: * threats, and dreadful dangers. All this has been a great treasure of experience for a writer. She often hears the comment: "you must have 18 lives, at least twice the 9 of a cat". Gudrun's sharp intellect and refined feelings, have contributed to her delightful and delicate insight into the soul. This, in turn, so naturally and easily, makes all her marvelous diverse story-characters come alive. Thereby creating profound resonance in the soul of those who enjoy her works.
