This cooler gets and stays nice and cold. I put a couple frozen water bottles in it each day when I get to work(I leave the cooler in my truck everyday). When I take things out they are super cold even on really hot days. It's still cold by the end of my day. Would recommend. Just be careful with the lid and handle as the hinges are just cheap thing plastic and the handle feels cheap. Not an issue for me as I leave it in the truck anyway.

I bought this to use not in the car but in the house with the AC to DC adapter (needs to be bought separately and it's not cheap either) to serve as a kind of fridge in my bedroom while I am bed-bound. It has a good capacity and is perfectly cool enough, but it has two shortcomings: 1) its hum is a bit loud, at least at first, but I have become used to it and 2) it produces condensation - the motor is in the lid and the condensation drips down into the interior - I have solved that by covering the stuff inside with a hand towel which absorbs the condensation. All in all, I am satisfied, it serves the purpose for which I got it and its shortcomings are not a dealbreaker.

The handle broke on the first trip, not happy with that. Added a seal to the lid so it closes up snugly and stays cooler longer when unplugged. If not for the handle lock function, I would say it was great, but the lid not sealing properly costs when it comes to containing the cold air and keeping things fresh.

I ordered this cooler because the �鶹�� site says it uses 12 watts of power when in fact it consumes 64 watts, continuously. Much more than they say it will and when you are on solar and battery ONLY, that makes a huge difference. I was not all that pleased with the handle quality. Appears flimsy to me. I was impressed with the cooling ability. However, wow is it ever noisy. I have decided to return this cooler and have purchased an actual compressor fridge that was a lot more money but much more efficient in daily power consumption and a lot quieter. Also... it has temperature control. If you are looking for a cooler for the road, this one is probably OK as long as your engine is running to supply the power. It cools well.. and for the price, it is really not much more than a regular cooler ice chest. I recommend they correct the power usage on the �鶹�� page to indicate the true power consumption of 64 watts instead of the advertised 12 watts. If someone is buying this to go camping using a solar generator and solar cells, they would be disappointed because of the high power consumption.

My first one has lasted me over 5 years still cools great. The only problem I have now is the plug is real cheap. Got a new one for another day cab semi truck. My solution is i order a new cigarette lighter plug and cut off the cheap one off the cooler and add a better plug. The plug these come with tend to not stay in and do not stay on when you think its plugged in. Otherwise im happy with having these in my work truck.
