To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on 鶹. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Customers say
Customers find these keycaps work well and perform better than knockoffs. They help with aim and provide a great little upgrade for better aim. Users appreciate the resistance the keycaps offer. However, durability presents concerns as some break easily and immediately rip. The keycaps affect movement, screwing up movement and reducing range of motion. Customers have mixed opinions on build quality and ease of use.

Yes. They work, but there’s some things to watch out for.
These rings achieve their goal, that being, to add resistance to the analog stick in order to prevent ‘overshooting’ when playing FPS games. I’ve been testing them out in bf6 and they have been working a treat. Though there are some things to watch out for or consider before you try them out. - Learning curve The first time you put these on, they’re going to feel awkward as hell. It feels as if someone is actively pushing against your thumb stick. - Expect to have to experiment with your settings when you first use them. Regular sensitivity (depending on what level of ‘toughness’ you use) will feel super slow when you try these for the first time Overall though, I would personally recommend this. They’re somewhat cheap and if you don’t he a complete doofus and put them on your controller gently they will most likely last you a while. While giving you that competitive edge against other players.

- Reviewed in Canada on October 23, 2023Verified PurchaseLike the multiple colors & densities. Although the lightest ones are good enough, kinda tough to move the sticks around after awhile.
- Reviewed in Canada on December 16, 2025Verified PurchaseI was expecting the soft ones to be perfect, but they’re still too stiff, they need to be more airy and a bit larger so that there’s more room to have that slight tension that doesn’t hinder range of motion but yet can reduce high sensitivity near the dead zone area of the joystick for better precision.
I’m using a regular Xbox controller for my series X, and using these precision rings fit right, for the most part I believe, however they create a lack of range of motion even with the Kontrol Freek Galaxy High Rise, I have to add too much pressure to my right stick on high sens to even look around.
Brief Review
- Not comfortable while using
- Soft ones. Still too tense
- Reduces a huge lack of Range of motion even on highest sens
- Smart idea/product but not perfected
- easy to put on, especially if you warm them with your breath before putting on, to not risk breakage.
- Hard rings seemed to give more range of motion than the soft ones but are tense as well.
What would make this product better and practical?
1. If it had better conformation to the joystick, joystick round base, and inner wall of joystick area.
I. Better conformation = better/consistent tension within whatever input/range of joystick
2. If they were more airy and filled in the space more (Larger and squishier, but soft, almost like a cotton ball) but it still needs that tension like how a sponge / precision rings give.
3. make specific “rings” or Precision “pads” for each (regular) controller to conform to their shapes, joystick stem width, and area, likely means you’re gonna have to design a whole new looking ring, to make sure tension is consistent, and range of motion isn’t hindered, and that joystick input has tension at all times in the center of the joystick, for perfect precision and sensitivity slowdown.
For example if the ring doesn’t fit well, it may be loose and input from inner joystick might feel like its slipping sensitivity.
Because at this point, this product has failed to do what it’s supposed to do with “ease” and comfortability. And it’s probably better for players to rely on aim assist, or a lower sens which can hinder gameplay success, or they can just try their best to hit their shots with free-aim, and learn to be more slow for better precision while on high sens, but the precision ring for free-aim users will help with joystick slipping due to manufacturer joystick limitations or failures, or a worn out right stick.
I’m sorry if this sounded harsh, but it’s my opinion and perhaps truth. I want what’s best for you and your product idea, and this is a great idea, but imperfect, this product can still be a thing, it has great potential, and sale potential, but it needs work.
Bless you guys,
Sincerely,
Ash

warning (as others have said), they break easy upon install. Meaning you will most likely break 2-3 of the 6 trying to get on, and off (when attempting to try out the different stiffness)
- Reviewed in Canada on January 19, 2026Verified PurchaseBought the Precision rings thinking it would help for first person shooters (call of duty, battlefield) but even using the green (softest) aiming felt a little slow. Maybe I just need to get used to them?. I ended up only using one on the left stick seemed to work well.

Verified PurchaseI use these to help prevent stick drift and it works also so my right stick has more resistance when I pull in each directions as my hands are very stiff so it’s good can turn your sense up to on my fps games like rainbow six siege with these it’s a must to turn up your sense.
