Directions

Product MUST reach a minimum of 82°C (180°F) measured with a thermometer for 2 minutes. Stir before serving. In a suitable container for stove top, gradually whisk contents in 2.5 litres of boiling water. Return to a boil. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Stir occasionally.

    I wasn't sure about this Mac and cheese when I bought it, but once I made it I was very surprised. It's quite good in terms of taste and texture, it cooks very nicely in the oven or crock pot, and wow is there a lot of it for the money. You could easily feed a family of 6 with one bag of this with some leftover.

    Great value for the money. Kind of wish they made smaller bags to feed 2 or 3 people. I highly recommend this for anyone who has family members that love Mac N cheese.

    It tastes great, but the portioning is kind of a pain, and its a fairly Ultra Processed Food compared to say, cheap white store-bought pasta like Unico or Italpasta (literally just wheat and vitamin additives like thiamine) paired with a healthy pesto say, and even KD original which here in Canada has a list of ingredients that is: Pasta (wheat), Cheese sauce (whey powder, cheddar cheese, salt, butter, paprika, tumeric, annatto (a plant extract), natural flavours, citric acid and sodium phosphate. This definitely isn't healthy on a daily basis, although I've seen worse ingredients lists. That said, it does taste quite a bit better than KD, and could be a good choice if you're low-key entertaining some guests and want an easy, delicious main dish.
