I will never tire of Aromat, and words cannot express how sad I am that we do not have it available in Canada (At least where I am). Best seasoning for pretty much anything. (But especially for corn on the cob and steamed veggies)

This stuff is hard to find in the USA (Southeast), but it is worth having in your pantry. Enhances flavors for all vegetables (steamed or fried) and is a better alternative to just adding salt to food. Great for cooking (especially seasoning eggs). TIP: The listed expiration date on the container is only applicable if you do not open/break the seal. You'll want to use the entire container before you open another one. Once the seal is broken the moisture will change the content, and it will become clumpy and could discolor. That's normal for this perishable Knorr product.
Was introduced to Aromat in South Africa, in a township kitchen, since then is favorite veggie flavor enhancer as well as useful on lots of other dishes and soups where you might use salt. Does contain salt and MSG as well as mushroom, celery, bay leaves and other ingredients that gives a great unami to everything savory it is sprinkled on. The dating was 18 months from the day we received. Could not find locally in grocery store.
