    very good american klipsch speaker is "made in china" like anything today but working good in this price range
    we have old version of this speaker 8000f too and both are fine but old has a nice wood vaneer on their back , 8000f II slightly different cabinet with two bass reflex instead of one probably better suits for small rooms than mk1 model
    american sound from klipsch very specific and not popular in continental europe for most customers you should now that before choosing one of these
    we loved klipsch sound with denon or onkyo anyway

    These speakers sound great, nice clear punch with sparkling highs, very Kliptch like. The finish is very premium and all the binding posts are solid.

    I had issues with both my units arriving damaged from transit, FedEx must have bang them hard (I dont blame them, these things were very hard to even get them out of the box). I wanted to return them but that would had been a nightmare, the seller was very supportive if I wanted to return them or keep them.

    These speakers can punch, they sounds very clear at volumes above 110db which I only tested to hear them from far. They are equally clear at levels below 60db.

    I though they were expensive, had them in my cart for months before I decided/ But once you see them, you realize why they cost 800 bucks, freight alone has to be $100+ of the value with each weight over 25kg.

    I power them with a Denom 1600h AVR and also with my pro audio 300W 8ohm QSC. QSC has a much better sound, old school amp which I connected to a Schitt Audio DAC to my TV using SPIF cable. At the end I kept the AVR connection for the simplicity of volume control.

    These speakers are easy to drive, you can probably get away with 40W at 8hm if you dont hear music extremely loud, but these having RMS over 300W at 8ohm, I opted for a bigger amp which I barely tap into all of its power.

    These Klipsch speakers are amazing and better than expected. However, the customer service provided by James and Johnny at IQ Home Entertainment -- the vendor -- is the real story here -- their attention after the sale was STELLAR! Very rarely does one experience the type of customer care that I experienced with IQ. It was superior in every way.

    Flashback: The speakers arrived promptly and looked fabulous. Unfortunately, however, one of the two towers was damaged during shipment -- the box apparently was dropped at some point during shipping and this was readily apparent. These are GORGEOUS tower speakers and I was quite disappointed.

    After describing this to Johnny from IQ and sending pictures to James, also with IQ, a replacement tower was promptly sent. I was excited about receiving it and took delivery of the replacement tower speaker in my driveway, merely days after contacting IQ Home Entertainment. Sadly, however, this speaker, too, was damaged during shipping. A silver dollar-sized hole somehow "happened" during shipping and my son and I could literally reach our hand in the box and feel where the beautiful finish of this speaker was scratched badly. I was devastated! How could this happen twice?

    With IQ Home Entertainment, though, one is in very good, "ethical" hands, as I soon learned. I contacted them again and after a pleasant conversation with James, the manager, I felt confident that the issue would be resolved. Understanding my concerns about another speaker being damaged during shipment -- just as the first two were -- James offered to ship the speaker using another delivery company. He was beyond courteous, allowed me to voice my concerns and allayed my fears of having yet another speaker damaged during shipment.

    His solution worked. The (second) replacement speaker arrived within 48 hours and was undamaged -- partly because of better handling, but also because IQ Home Entertainment double packed and reinforced the Klipsch box with additional packing and boxing. We could readily see upon arrival that James and his staff had gone way beyond the call of duty to ensure that this speaker arrived safely and undamaged. We were thrilled and still are. These speakers are the best I have ever owned and I am incredibly pleased.

    However, the real story here is IQ Home Entertainment and their superior customer service:
    1. They listened without interruption so that I could convey what had happened.
    2. They were extremely polite and I could readily tell that they genuinely cared.
    3. They promptly assessed the situation and sent a replacement immediately.
    4. After the replacement showed up damaged and I was (polite but) understandably upset, manager James took the (professional) initiative to change shipping companies, double pack the box to ensure safe passage and keep up with the delivery, knowing that I had already had two problematic deliveries.
    5. Just WOW! Fantastic customer service.

    For anyone seeking to deal with a courteous, professional home entertainment company that carries great products like Klipsch, IQ Home Entertainment cannot be beaten! As the former Director of Public Relations for a publishing company, I can tell you that I would have been proud to have them in my company because they understand the value of quality customer relations. Personally, I would have suggested to upper management that both representatives of the company be given promotions and raises.

    Most impressively, I could tell that both James and John genuinely cared and that they were honest and ethical -- they went the extra mile! THANK YOU BOTH!

    I cannot recommend IQ Home Entertainment enough. They take care of their customers! Oh, and YES, the Klipsch speakers are awesome, too! Thank you IQ! Thank you 鶹 for dealing with such a quality vendor.
