    Ok..first off, I did return them, but not for the reasons you'd think.
    These are most definitely a step up from the last model...the crossovers are simply better, and somehow, the sweetspot widened. That's most likely all you need to know.

    I often ask myself...where is the money going? And in this case, it's going into a more pure and spacious sound. Yes, worth the investment.

    Why I bought? My intention was to actually use them as a 2.1 front only. Ironically when set up in front of me, I was losing sound...but when off axes by 3 or 4 ft...it was great.
    But I sit center, not to the side.

    I thought having duel firing speakers on both right and left might work. I was wrong. (Not too far off ...but wrong)
    But used as rears???
    ABSOLUTELY...and when the time comes, I will not hesitate to buy again.
