This wonderful KitchenAid Citrus Juicer attachment makes 'reaming' your Citrus easy. It cleans up in a jiffy. I now use mine 'daily' in the mornings to make my Organic Lemon Juice in warm water beverage on an empty tummy -- to give me a boost of 'alkalinity', once inside the body. There is only one 'improvement' that I would like and that is for the seed sieve part.....it easily attaches and is easily removed.....the drawback is that it does not/not extend outward enough. Perhaps another half-inch would do the trick.....because some seeds jump past it and end up in your juice container. Tip: Once a week, just put vegetable oil on the metal shaft to reduce the 'friction/squeaking' factor. Great unit....and don't forget to turn your locking knob on your stand mixer to securely tighten your attachment to your mixer. Just turn on your mixer, set it up to power '6' and make your juice!

Have a Kitchenaid and want a juicer just for oranges? This is PERFECT. Very easy to attach, clean and use. I know some of the comments say that it splashes everywhere, well that's not true when it's on a low setting. Someone else says it drips along your arm, not if you hold your arm horizontally. Out of 1 orange you get about half a glass (Imported regular oranges).

Only downside I would say with this is the awkward horizontal way off feeding it, but for the price tag and the convenience of not having to waste space on another machine, this takes the cake. I can't recommend this enough.

It is not the best engineered product. A proper citrus juicer does a better job. It could be better with some small changes. I bet the engineers never tried it out before they brought it to market. The connection screw, which secures the juicer to the unit, connects into plastic and leaves variable marks on the plastic. A sign it won’t last. The tray catching the pulp and seeds could be bigger and better secured, sort of flimsy. Still, it does the job, but not great.

The tray catches juice and pulp, and any spray is captured inside the frame area. I wish it was slightly smaller so I could leave it out, attached to my machine, and use it daily without dealing with it being tucked away in a drawer/cupboard, but alas..if it was smaller, then I couldn't use it for giant sized oranges, or grapefruits!

I have a small countertop measuring bowl juicer which is perfectly fine for juicing a couple of lemons or oranges. But if you need a large quantity for a recipe, it becomes tiresome. I bought a handheld juicer which squeezes the juice out, but when I was trying to juice 2 cups of orange juice, my hand really began to ache. I really didn't want another huge kitchen gadget, but I really didn't want juicing to be so difficult.

The juicer is very simple in design and super easy to wash. The mixer does all of the work for you and it does a better job getting the juice than anything handheld / manual. I needed approximately 6 oranges for my recipe, and I used 5 oranges, which put me over the amount of juice I needed.

And I'm going to say again....it's VERY SIMPLE TO WASH. Five stars!

Haben seit Jahren eine Kitchen Aid. Jetzt durch Zufall über die Zitruspresse gestolpert. Die Überlegung war, ein Küchengerät, eine Stand alone Zitruspresse , einzusparen . Das Zusatzteil ist nicht gerade billig , aber trotzdem....habe jetzt diverse Kilos Apfelsinen verarbeitet. Aufbau sehr einfach, stecken und schrauben. Gewöhnungsbedürftig ist, die Apfelsinenhälften von der Seite zu pressen. Da aber die Kitchen Aid von Haus aus schwer ist und eine Art Saugfüsse besitzt, kein Verrutschen auch bei stärkerem Anpressdruck. Man sollte zum Auffangen ein Gefäß mit großer Öffnung verwenden. Reinigung simpel. Das verwendete Plastik macht einen wertigen Eindruck. Erwähnenswert ist, dass das Rührwerk mitläuft, hängt an derselben Antriebswelle. Die Rührschüssel kann während des Saftpressens belassen werden. Insgesamt befriedigt dieses Zusatzteil mein Empfinden für Perfektion.
