5.0 out of 5 stars Mix Quality Varies on Purpose
Verified PurchaseOkay, real quick, I could never get this to satisfactorily stay together as a crust. I mean 'satisfactorily', meaning I can, but it doesn't work as well. So, I bought a three pack for Thanksgiving because I missed pie, and I was tired of people eating pie around me last year during the holidays when it's one of my favorite things. So this year I got this box of three to try it out.
Pumpkin Pie: It gave me a crust that was solid, but the taste was hard. I ate the bottom, but I didn't bother with the sides. I had a little extra pumpkin mix and just put the mix straight into another dish instead and cooked it. Results, it tasted about the same. So, I think I'll just forgo crust on my pumpkin pies.
Cherry Cheesecake: This was fantastic! However, it didn't hold together, but it tasted like a real crust with that real graham cracker taste I wanted.
You start out first by making your crust and freezing it for an hour. After that, you fix your pie. Well, of course Pumpkin Pie is in the oven for a long duration, so I imagine that is why it didn't handle it so well. However, I used an already prepared cheesecake mix and berry filling, so there was no baking on the second.
I would say to get a decent crust with a decent taste, someone might want to do a pie that takes less time in the oven. For my purposes though, I don't mind the crumbly crust on my cheesecake. At least I get to have yummy graham cracker with my cheesecake!
Also, the graham cracker taste is awesome by itself, so I might by some actually graham crackers instead next time.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great gluten free alternative!
Verified PurchaseIve been using the Kinnikinnick graham cracker crumbles to make crusts for our Instant Pot gluten-free cheesecakes and its been wonderful! I have a very serious gluten intolerance, so I've been eating GF for years. But I absolutely love it when I serve slices to family and friends and their eyes light up and room fills with sounds of "foodgasms" as we call it around here hahaha. And then i tell em it's Gluten Free and that experience totally changes their perspective on gluten free food!
Back when I had to go GF over a decade ago, GF food options were scarce and what little there was available was pretty darn awful! But not anymore! There are so many wonderful gluten free alternatives out there now, and these graham crumbs are definitely one of them!
I wish these were a little bit cheaper, but i won't knock a star off for that. Just something the sellers should consider. But basically these 3x 10.5oz boxes provided me with enough material to make 9 cheesecakes in 7" springform pans in our InstantPot. So it's not too bad. That's alotta cheesecake!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great graham cracker substitute for cheesecake crust!
Verified PurchaseThis is a great gluten free substitute for a graham cracker crumb crust. Easy to use with one-to-one substitution for the glutaminated kind. My GF girlfriend loves it. It is a bit pricey as most GF options are, but worth the money. Fast shipping as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great product, when not expired!
Verified PurchaseMy husband wants cheesecake for every birthday. My kids and I are gluten free due to celiac. No one else makes these crumbs and they’re about as close as you can get to traditional graham flavor! They work just like regular graham cookie crumbs and bake up perfectly!
Note of CAUTION- I ordered a 3-pack at a highish price and all three boxes were expired! Since I needed to make a cheesecake the next day for my husband’s 50th, and no stores around sell this, and we HAVE to be gluten free, I was screwed.
**Order in advance so you have time to get 鶹 to ship a replacement if they arrive expired! 鶹 offered to pay for shipping of overnight from another seller, but there was not a viable option to arrive on time. I have used these beyond date by a month or so and it was fine, but after 2-3 months, you taste the difference.
Otherwise, this a great product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just like the graham-cracker crusts I remember from pre-celiac days!
Verified PurchaseWhen I was a kid — long before I developed celiac disease — Mom would make the most wonderful cheesecakes with graham-cracker crusts made from whole wheat graham flour. But I had to give those (as well as many other loved foods) up completely when I had to go gluten-free fifteen years ago.
So this past fall, having previously thought graham-cracker crusts were forever to be a distant memory, I was delighted when someone told me there were such things as gluten-free graham crackers and I just had to try them. At first I ordered the whole graham-crackers (also from Kinnikinnick), but found there weren't quite enough in one package to form a fully walled pie crust. Then I came across these Graham-Style Crumbs here on 鶹, and having three more ounces per package these make just the right amount of crust, enough to go all the way up the sides of my standard-sized pie dish.
And the taste is exactly what I remember. I am so happy, finally, to be able to make my mom's cheesecake recipe again!
