The lids are share and the openings are small on both the bottle and the shaker portion. What I thought was clever is that the lids come put on loosely and when you fill with your product then screw the lid on, the second inner seal seals the lid! So when you take off the lid, you have to peel off the inner seal, just like you would a sealed product from the store. They were the perfect little containers, about the size of a MCormick spice bottle.
