    Wow, works a lot better than my shop vac. Low suction, high volume. Hooked to my 14 inch band saw. Still get a little sawdust off the blade, but nothing to worry about. Quiet operation, you can have it running and still talk to someone without raising your voice. Can't wait to use with my thickness planer.

    Overall, the dust collector does what it's designed to do, collects dust. Having the articulated collector duct mount is useful and enhances the portability, switching between machines. However, the unit was very poorly packaged. It came in a damaged and torn cardboard box with no packing to minimize shipping damages. Consequently, the plastic 4" duct was crushed and broken in 3 places. The longest undamaged piece I was able to salvage was only about 5 feet long. Mounting screws for the casters were missing. They probably fell out of the damaged box. I had to purchase 16 nuts/screws locally and I would have to purchase replacement duct. That is, this dust collector is costing me more than whatever the savings that I could have enjoyed through this 鶹 purchase. Because of un-reusable damaged shipping box, I chose not to return the item. Very disappointing.

    It is for small particles only. Any trimings off of a planer just block off the suction due to the grate in the intake. The hose that comes with it is garbage. It's poorly packed. It came crushed in 3 spots. The hose also cracked in many spots. Garbage hose.
