Really love kicking horse coffee. I'm slowly attempting to try majority of their flavors. Kick ass dark is bold and upon opening the bag when it arrives, you can't help but make an espresso immediately. The aroma that comes from the opening of the bag, of fresh just roasted beans that are oily (the oil dissipates a bit after a couple days, it's been safe for my semi auto breville built in grinder espresso machine bes870xl) all in all, I used to only buy Pete's until I luckily found kicking horse coffee. I even gave my family just enough to tease and they admitted it kills Pete's coffee which we all have enjoyed, until this took over. I have had kicking horse decaf (it's good and great for evening drinks if you don't want to stay up all night), I've tried kick ass dark multiple times and trying medium 3 sisters blend next (I believe that's what it's called) but I have no doubt any of their coffee is not delicious.

I ordered this because I was ready to try something other than my "norm" and, mostly because of the name, I decided to order it. Since I have "�鶹�� Prime" it got here super fast, like always, and I was ready to open and indulge! After opening the pack of beans, I was hit with the great smell of the coffee, I just knew I would be hooked. Sure enough, I ground up the coffee as instructed on the bag, set it in the K-Cup for coffee grounds, and waited. Usually I add cream and even a little sweetener. With this coffee I did not need to add either. The tast was so great, I am still amazed. I am on probably my 20th cup, I have had the coffee for 3 days. Needless to say, very happy customer. I will definitely try out the next flavor that catches my eye from this company! By the way, the coffee actually gives me energy, unlike any other coffee I have had.

My favorite coffee i've ever drank. I have a 22oz travel mug of this coffee at work everyday. This is a very dark roasted coffee. The beans give off almost an oily sheen and smell absolutely amazing. The taste is unmistakable once you've had it once. It is very dark, earthy, less sweet than most roasts like it, highly caffinated, and extremely smooth with no bitterness at all! I am 21 and struggle with ADHD and this coffee is so caffinaed that it actually helps me concentrate and focus better when i am at work! I love this stuff and can't wait to try some of KH's other blends.

This coffee is the BEST! If you're like me and you prefer a scalding hot, rich, dark cup of coffee, this is for you. I have tried various dark roasts and to me this coffee has the deepest, most full-bodied flavor of any of them. The beans are nice and oily and when I make the coffee in my Aeropress coffee and espresso maker, I like to make a cup that is slightly taller and milder than a double shot of espresso but still has that layer of crema on top. This stuff is divine - getting ready to order my Kicking Horse T-shirt!
