    ****IMPORTANT**** Yamaha Canada has A FIX for it now, open a case or go to Yamaha dealer **
    This Yamaha PSR A5000 has defective joystick. I tried three brand new keyboards and all have same problem. I opened a case with Yamaha Canada and so far no estimated time when this issue will be resolved and they said never heard about it before even though i see other reviews online. Please whoever has this problem, open case with Yamaha as I believe All A5000 have this problem and Yamaha should make a recall of it. I found this video on 鶹.com which describe the issue very well:

    This is an expensive keyboard. but the component material are cheap. My keyboard got defected all of a sudden after three years of very light use. The mainboard is halted and all keypads are not working. Called the dealership in Canada and refused ever to diagnose it and wanted to me to go any repair shops who all are not skill even to fix a kittle. waste of money and poor investment.

    Ive written handfuls of songs with my other psr keyboard since 2002 and its still working great. I just wanted an upgrade with built in memory and music looping. it has more features than a nasa space station. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THIS PIANO.
