- Reviewed in Canada on June 21, 2025Verified PurchaseLightweight and robust. Utilizes high quality steel burr with consistent grind. It fits inside the aeropress plunger making for a compact coffee set up for hiking.
- Reviewed in Canada on March 24, 2024Verified PurchaseI’m currently using the Breville 870 espresso machine with the included automatic grinder. No complaints with it but I wanted something that I could use to make a decaf espresso later in the day without going through the onerous process of removing beans from the Breville.
I was not sure if I would use the manual grinder long term, so did want something lower cost in case this was to become a counter ornament. After much online investigation and review reading, I settled on the Kingrinder P2.
Set up was simple. There are no included instructions but I did find a P series manual online. In the manual, they write that you set the dial all the way clockwise until you can’t turn any further and then count back counter clockwise 30 clicks. Using this method, I am now getting better shots that ever before. What a difference!
I must say that I have not even tried the decaf yet. I have used 2 beans. The Lavazza Rosa is a lighter roasted bean, and I noticed that the turning of the grinder is a bit more difficult. However, the shot is noticeably creamier, and pouring near the 40 second mark. I can finally taste the notes off chocolate that this bean is known for. The next one was the Ethical Bean company Lush, which is darker roasted and more oily. The grinding was easier and the shot was also amazing, much better than any other attempt with an automatic grinder. Both beans took me approximately a minute to grind for 20 grams of beans.
I have read people complaining that there is static, and there is. It does not detract from the experience for me. Neither does the plastic body. It still feels well made and the burrs are obviously well worth the low cost of this grinder.
Like others, it makes me wonder what the K series could bring to my coffee experience. This could be a gateway grinder to other levels within the Kingrinder product offering. Buy with confidence.
- Reviewed in Canada on January 15, 2025Verified PurchaseIf you you're looking for grinder that you can take anywhere. Take a look at this one. Lightweight, made of very sturdy plastic. Bur set is very good and grinds on point. If you want a lightweight, no bells and whistle grinder. This should fit your needs.
- Reviewed in Canada on May 2, 2025Verified PurchaseGreat little grinder, amazing for the price. The fact this thing reliably does espresso is amazing for the price point. Good consistent grind. It’s not effortless to grind, takes some effort. 33 micron adjustments between steps is a little much for espresso, but is manageable and it only costs $60ish dollars so I still can’t really complain. Overall very happy!
- Reviewed in Canada on May 6, 2025Verified PurchaseFirst hand grinder for me and it's perfect for my morning pour over
- Reviewed in Canada on July 10, 2025Verified PurchaseFantastic grinder for the price. Wish I bought this first instead of the one I got before. It can grind fine enough for my espresso machine and it's easy to adjust to pour over. All around excellent purchase. My only complaint is that I wish it had a larger capacity. For a 2 cup pour over I need to measure and grind twice, which isn't a big deal but it would be convenient if it could handle more beans at one time.
- Reviewed in Canada on June 18, 2025Verified PurchaseIt took a while to get here and the first time I ordered my order got lost then canceled. But when I got it eventually it performs way better than I expected. You're not going to get much better at this price point
- Reviewed in Canada on June 20, 2025Verified PurchaseAwesome product! Appreciate the burr quality. For the price, you’re not getting any better grinding!

5.0 out of 5 stars Works great for price, hope it lasts years.
Verified PurchaseDidn't want to get a $100+ grinder. Usually only make 1 cup a day. This brand was well reviewed for the P1, I figured the P2 was a little better.
For aeropress I did an "espresso" grind for normal cup of coffee. After opening the grinder I turned the dial on bottom 30 clicks clockwise as I had read online. Took about 30 seconds to grind 12grams of beans. Didn't notice any chunks, really nice grind. Used 200gram boiling water in aeropress for 2 minutes, swirled shortly. Best cup of coffee I've ever had at home, by far. Directly compared to electric cheap blade style coffee grinder and mini french press.
I am new to hand grinders and I am quite happy with this purchase. Will update if I have any durability issues.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excelente relación calidad precio

5.0 out of 5 stars Relación Calidad-Precio
Verified PurchaseExcelente molinillo. 100% recomendable.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to turn, different settings for precise grind, quality made
Verified PurchaseThis was a great purchase. We saw it recommended on YouTube and decided to give it a try. We like to grind our own coffee each morning for espresso and having the different settings is perfect. We use it on our boat with an aeropress and it grinds just the right amount. It takes less than a minute to grind enough for a cup, the blades inside are sharp (but down deep in the chamber so no chance of cutting yourself.), it's easy to turn and there is a brush to get all the coffee into the aeropress. It's definitely quality made and worth the price. Would highly recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars What More Could You Possibly Need! This thing is GREAT
Verified PurchaseYup it’s perfect for grinding coffee for my aero press. I’m sure that there are even more impressive grinders out there but for the once a week or two that I want to use my aero press over my espresso machine this is more than perfect. My only gripe is that the numbers for the adjustments at the bottom don’t seem to mean much of anything. It doesn’t start on “0” so setting the grinder is slightly confusing but once it’s done it’s a set it and forget it set up for me. I’m not going to be adjusting the grind that often at all.
