This is perfect for the apple pencil. It takes out a bit the sensibility of your hands however I use the Logitech keyboard and track pad as well. This is perfect if you plan to use often the apple pencil. It's a bit hard to apply the sheet to the screen but at least there is 3sheets included. Second try worked like a charm. But I recommend to ask an expert to stick the protector to your iPad.

To start, I’m very new to these type of screen protectors. I’m not an artist or anything, so I’ve never really had the use for one. But recently I started some online classes and needed to start taking notes. Paper just wasn’t cutting it as I wanted to be able to search for keywords etc. So I got a knockoff Apple Pencil along with these protectors. I was NOT looking forward to the install as I have horrid OCD and cannot stand when there are irregularities/bubbles/dust on the screen. I went to my least dusty room, put the alignment stickers on the iPad and screen protector, gave it a good wipe down, and used the dust stickers a ton. To my surprise, I nailed it on the first try. There are some bubbles due to dust being trapped in the bezel area, which definitely still bothers me not a single one on the screen!!! That I can live with. I’ve literally been dreading this since I purchased them and it turned out really well. It sticks down nicely, any bubbles without dust are very easy to get rid of with the massive squeegee.

So, for the quality. I think it’s good, as I said I’m not sure how others are, but it feels exactly like paper when writing. I actually love the feeling when writing, it feels so natural. There are a couple caveats though (which I’m not sure are avoidable with this type of protector). The first being what it does to the screen. It reminds me of when you have greasy fingers and touch your screen and it makes it look off. Well, now the entire screen looks like this. But, to be honest, I think it’s tolerable. But I would definitely be disappointed if I had a nice OLED screen, it would dull it quite a bit, so keep that in mind if you get a similar one for a Pro or whatever. 2nd, it captures dust in the grooves. I wiped my finger across it and it left a brownish powder in the grooves (I guess I’m shedding?). This is a pretty minor issue though compared to the screen clarity. I’ve seen a review saying it inverted his colours lol, as that’s quite literally impossible, I can guarantee you that it does not happen. I also saw another guy who said he installed these for a living and was unable to install it (maybe even both). Well, to be honest he must not have been very good at his job cause this is the most successful application I’ve ever had of a screen protector. The kit is nice, the alignment stickers (while they worried me at first not being accurate enough), they are actually really helpful and pretty much made me just concentrate on the squeegeeing as the alignment was perfect, maybe 1% off, but that’s my fault for being impatient and knowing it was slightly off. Overall, I’m very pleased with this protector. I’m sure I’ll get used to the weird look it gives the screen, plus, it’s more than worth it for note taking, I absolutely love the organic feeling. I’m not sure I could go back to glossy screen for writing. 1 star off is simply because of the effect it gives the screen, even though it’s probably and inherent property, some people might not appreciate it so I’ll leave one off as a warning for those people.

I was looking for a new one after my old one had some air bubbles, instead of just ordering the same one i had… I ordered this one (Big mistake) I use the sharp tip apple pencils and the moment i started writing, this screen protectors started scratching. Everything I write is now engraved into the screen protector. This is not normal!! This has not happened with anyone else’s that I know. I also cannot tap the screen anymore (It’s been less than a week) It does not respond to anything tapping or writing anymore. Absolutely run from this if you use the sharp tip apple pencil (or even if you don’t)

If you are wanting paper like feel/sound then the product is as described. Be careful with installation when taking second screen peel off it lifted the under layer for me and caused a ton of bubbles that were very difficult to work out. Protector is very rough and loud when using fingers to swipe not ideal for general day to day use. It feels like it might wear down tip of pen due to roughness.
