Bonne antenne le fouet est 38 pouces et si on a à le couper pour tuner on ne sera pas en dessous de 36 pouces
L antenne est decrite comme étant 36 pouces. Il y a un set screw à la base pour ajuster la longueur.
Jai toujour eu des K40 monté avec un cobra 25 LTD classic et de tres bon resultats . Souvent un signal fort et clair a 15 kms.
Cette fois je monte cette antenne sur un uniden PC68LTX

I installed this antenna on my 2019 Ram along with a Uniden Pro510XL. When I tuned the antenna initially, I had to trim about 2cm off the antenna to get the SWR down. During my initial tuning, I ran the antenna cable across the cab and in through the seal on the upper side of the rear passenger door. I got the SWR down to 1.5 on channels 1 and 40 and 1:1 on channel 19. After the tuning, I routed the cable towards the rear of the cab, then down between the box and back into the cab via the lower rear door seal, as more of a permanent placement. When I checked the SWR a couple of months later, the SWR readings was 2.2 on channel 1 and 1.6 on channel 40. I tried to make some adjustments again, but could not get the SWR readings on ch.1 and 40 to match, as the antenna was too short from when I done the initial tuning. I removed the cable from between the cab and box and put it back through the upper seal on the rear passenger door and now the SWR readings are the same as they were in the beginning. I did not think cable routing would affect the SWR readings, but it certainly did.
I tested this radio with a friend of mine that also has a Uniden Pro510XL and and Little Wil antenna. We got good clear communications at 6- 7km's apart. We got as high as 10km, but lots of static on both radios at this point. Overall, I think its on par with the Little Wil performance, but for a much better price.

J’ai commandé exactement le même modèle d’�鶹�� mais je dois le retourner car il y a plein de bosses entre l’aimant et le collant protecteur. Cela empêche l’aimant d’être à plat sur mon toit et surtout, ça endommagera ma peinture. L’item est aussi dans une boîte ouverte, ce qui semble être le standard chez �鶹�� ces jours-ci…

Purchased this antenna so I could hook up this cute little vintage 1977 CB I got for a song in my 1977 F150. I plopped the mount smack in the middle of my roof with the coax going down in the doorjamb, under the dash, into the cb. Pretty simple. Also tuned it with an external SWR meter and had to cut off about 3/4 of an inch to get the SWR's to match. 1.2 on channel 1, 1.4 on channel 23 (I only have 23). So I am going to leave it alone. Channel 19 is pretty much 1.2 as well. Good enough for me. Haven't heard anyone yet but then again I am not near a highway. Taking it out on a road trip this weekend.

The mount is solid. Had to tighten the metal base on the mount where the antenna goes into a little bit but that's it. Easy install. Now let's hope this thing works :)

SWR is higher than I'd like but its not out of range. I didn't spend a lot of time moving it & adjusting it so someone else may get better results. That said, its strongly built and I'd buy it again.

Bought this as I have another K40 full size mag mount and right out of the package it is near perfect 1.2 SWR on Chanel’s 1 and 40. This K30 model was not at all close.

Box says it is a 35” whip but it is actually 35.5” (likely because .5” is what drops into the screw on adapter.

With it dropped all the way down I had a near perfect SWR on channel 1 and just over 3 on channel 40. Obviously no god of the higher channels. Had to trim it down about 1/4” in 1/8” increments in order to get to to close to 2 on both 1 and 40 and flat in the middle at 20. Not great but acceptable for my use and won’t kill the transmitter.

Only giving it 3 starts because I was hoping it would preform as well as the K40 full size and not require tuning or trimming. But magnet is strong and unit is well built. unsure as to what kind of distance I can transmit as I am yet to test that. But all in all much better than the cheaper centre loaded mag mount antennas.
