    Ok. As has been talked about ad nauseum... Why no bass instrument? It's not actually "Low in the mix", it's just not there. At all. Maybe I hear the bleed of it from other mics occasionally?? Maybe? But the remastering makes it clear that they just muted the bass. The kick is huge! The guitars sound amazing. The vocals fantastic... No bass. My brain expects it (needs it) to kick in at some point... Nope. Unfortunately, it makes what could have been Metallica's best album ever into a two dimensional effort. Just to compare, listen to garage days revisited (where there is obviously bass from Jason). It's fantastic in comparison. In fact, don't... It'll sour your teenage years opinion of Justice forever. Sorry... Not sorry... Sorry...

    Anyway, the pressing was good. The remaster is nice. The songs are great. Just a really really Really! Poor decision by the band. I blame Lars lol. Minus a star for bad decision making by the band.
