I ordered this magnesium supplement especially because it is said to be non buffered. What that means is that the supplement contains pure magnesium Bisglycinate and no magnesium oxide is added in the composition. This is supposed to make the supplement less likely to upset the tummy. The daily dose is quite a lot, it is 4 capsules a day and they are large in size. The rather large jar is sufficient for two months. To be honest I always find the magnesium supplements to be large in size for my taste, but taking four capsules daily, in addition to my other supplements, it is a lot to swallow. I am still pleased with the quality and with the value, and most of all pleased with how this supplement works (no upset stomach and for me definite reduction in muscle cramps) . If I take magnesium at night I feel that it also helps me sleep. Satisfied Thank you

    I was specifically looking for a magnesium bisglycinate chelate supplement because I have sensitivity to standard magnesium and I often experience nausea from standard magnesium capsules. For background, I have been taking general magnesium supplements for energy and sustenance throughout the day in combination with my intermittent fasting routine for over a year now. I know if it is working if I don't get a headache on the days I fast.

    Magnesium bisglycinate chelate supplements is a chelated form of magnesium which binds to glycine molecules (amino acids). This process is supposed to enhance its bioavailability in the body making it both gentler on the stomach and with increased absorption in the body.

    So far I have noticed the following side affects:

    1. Increased energy;
    2. Decreased nausea;
    3. Decreased headaches from intermittent fasting while taking this supplement;
    4. Better, deeper sleep

    If you practice intermittent fasting, I find this to be highly effective for retaining my energy levels throughout the day and reducing headaches as a result of low glucose levels. I will be using this form of magnesium moving forward because I find it easier on my stomach than regular magnesium. I would recommend.

    Wow! For a brand name I've never heard of, I'd safely say that this supplement blows away my previous, more well-known magnesium. I suffer from intermittent but harsh muscle spasms, and magnesium bisglycinate always seems to help—but it can be hit or miss. Not with this kind. I've been using it for about two weeks now, and no spasms whatsoever! I realize that this supplement isn't intended to treat any condition whatsoever, I'm just sharing what it does for me, and that I'm now a fan! If you have a similar condition, I'd definitely recommend these! And even if you don't, these are easy to ingest, no aftertaste, and a MUCH bigger size than my previous brand. I'm sold!

    The daily dose (for 300mg of magnesium) is FOUR capsules. I'm used to taking a lot of supplements but this is unnecessarily adding more pills. There are versions on the market that are only 1 pill for the same dose.

    I've just reviewed the listing and it says "Each capsule delivers 300mg of elemental magnesium in a highly absorbable chelated form" which is very misleading.

    Other than that, the pills themselves are fine, the bottle has clear instructions and ingredients, expiration date, and appears to be legitimate magnesium. This form (bisglycinate) is well-known to be absorbed better (and cause less stomach upset) than other forms of magnesium, so their claims there are fine. Albion in general is a well-known company.

    TRAACS is just (as far as I understand) a patented version of chelating, which is basically combining it with glycine (an amino acid that helps you sleep - take this stuff before bed!). There's other chelated minerals out there.

    Overall I'd say look for another form of chelated magnesium glycinate / biglycinate (they are the same thing) that is only 1 pill.

    I already take magnesium bisglycinate daily, so I have switched out for this brand. I exercise regularly, and find that my muscles get less sore if I keep my magnesium levels up. Bisglycinate is 100% the form to take, it is readily absorbed by the body and avoid some digestive issues that can occur (other forms can act as laxatives, among other things).

    I don't know much about the TRAACS technology used in this formulation, but I'm willing to accept that it is high quality. For my part, the supplement itself looks great, with no broken pills or loose powder, and no negative side effects.
