Juniper Hill (The Edens) Kindle Edition
鶹
Memphis Ward arrives in Quincy, Montana, on the fifth worst day of her life. She needs a shower. She needs a snack. She needs some sanity. Because moving across the country with her newborn baby is by far the craziest thing she’s ever done.
But maybe it takes a little crazy to build a good life. If putting the past behind her requires a thousand miles and a new town, she’ll do it if it means a better future for her son. Even if it requires setting aside the glamour of her former life. Even if it requires working as a housekeeper at The Eloise Inn and living in an apartment above a garage.
It’s there, on the fifth worst day of her life, that she meets the handsomest man she’s ever laid eyes on. Knox Eden is a beautiful, sinful dream, a chef and her temporary landlord. With his sharp, stubbled jaw and tattooed arms, he’s raw and rugged and everything she’s never had—and never will. Because after the first worst day of her life, Memphis learned a good life requires giving up on her dreams too. And a man like Knox Eden will only ever be a dream.

- Reviewed in Canada on November 29, 2023Verified PurchaseThis book was everything that I imagined it would be. It was sweet, romantic, emotional, and steamy. Knox, Memphis, and Little Drake put a constant smile on my face. From the moment I met all three of them, they took hold of my heart and surrounded me in a cozy hug. To say I love them isn’t enough; they deserve so much more than those words. Knox was the dreamiest man I have ever had the pleasure of reading about. He was sweet, caring, and alpha. He brought me lots of butterflies and made my heart melt into a puddle. I adored how he made Memphis and Drake his own. It was swoon-worthy. Memphis was a beautiful character. She was strong and such a great momma to Drake. Memphis has this light about her that just draws you in and when she smiled, I smiled, when she cried, I cried, when she was annoyed, so was I. I just wanted to give her a big hug and be her best friend and that’s how I know a character is amazing. I know that Knox and Memphis will forever have a place in my heart, they are so special and I’m so glad I picked them up.
- Reviewed in Canada on June 25, 2023Verified PurchaseThis book was so good, but I desperately wished for a bit more spice. There was a lot of build up with the chemistry between Knox and Memphis, and their spicy times felt rushed and over too quickly.
I really enjoyed watching them both fall in love. And reading Memphis’s struggle as a single mom to a new born and her insecurities was emotional and quite the journey to read.
I really enjoyed the way these two came together and how Memphis found her family. There were some minor plot holes but over all I enjoyed.

The emotion between these two was great! And I loved that they both had secrets they kept close to the heart. It was so heartwarming watching them share these secrets with each other.

- Reviewed in Canada on April 16, 2024Verified PurchaseI love this one. Knox is the grumpy tattooed landlord we all wish would stubble in our lives. I melted when he would talk to Drake at night about memories. They were adorable. And no third act break up!!! Ugh love it all!

- Reviewed in Canada on August 16, 2023Verified PurchaseKNOX. EDEN. Back off ladies, he’s MY book boyfriend 🥵🤭
To be honest, I’ve never been a small town romance lover. It’s just not my jam. Enter The Eden’s ❤️❤️ I LOVE small town romance now 😂
Ok, now that we’ve gotten that out of the way.
Memphis and her 8 week old son are new in town. She’s moved into the loft at Knox’s place, much to his dismay. One night, Knox goes up to the loft because the baby is colic and cries every night. He takes the baby from her and rocks him until he calms down. His nickname for the baby - SWOON 😍
I loved watching these two fall in love. Knox was ready and so sure this was it for him. Memphis needed his strength to help her find her own. They have such a grown up, stable, loving relationship.
- Reviewed in Canada on October 13, 2022Verified PurchaseThis is like 4.75 ⭐️ and really I’m just being picky bc I would have like a teeny bit more Winn & Griffin bc I love them so much. But Knox & Memphis are amazing too so really I can’t complain. Another great story. Love the Edens!!
- Reviewed in Canada on January 14, 2022Verified PurchaseI want a Knox - what an amazing guy, he's a gentleman who is not just off the charts hot, but kind, giving and genuine.
I so loved that Memphis came into his orbit - they so deserved each other - she's had it rough, but so has he. They were so what each other needed. Her parents were just awful; rich, snooty, condescending, certainly not deserving of a daughter like Memphis, or even to have a relationship with their grandson, Drake.
As for Knox, he had a girlfriend who broke his heart, that was five years ago, but still hurts him. As Knox and Memphis get to know each other, it is special - he helps her, she in turn gives him what he needs, in the form of her son, Drake.
This story wouldn't be complete without some heart stopping moments, we get those; all the love, all the feels and all the satisfying results.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent story
Verified PurchaseMemphis has just arrived in Quincy. She is struggling with her two months old new born Drake. Knox rents her the loft at his house... From this starting point, their story is easy to enjoy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfection!
Verified PurchaseThere's no way I wouldn't love a book where there are little babies involved and I loved this one so much! I loved Memphis' strength. It wasn't easy to handle a kid with no familial support and whenever it got too hard for her, my heart broke. Luckily Knox swept in and changed her world. He not only provided her a home and companionship but also eternal love, sense of safety and an ever loving family who so easily made her and Drake an essential part of theirs. Speaking of the little boy, Drake was the cutest little thing! Memphis was an emotional mess at first but the way she fussed over Drake was so adorable. Seeing Knox interact with Drake made me melt into a puddle. Their relationship was the bestest thing ever! And don't get me started on the bonus epilogue, it was just so perfect! I was glad that Memphis got an adorable and growing family because she was the one who deserved it the most! Overall, this was a fabulous read with heartwarming cute kid moments and so adorable!

I just adore their relationship, how they both slowly start opening up to each other and help each other overcome some form of trauma or mistreatment. How during their late-night visits, when Knox comes over to get Drake to sleep, they start opening up to each other, starting with small stuff like how Knox became a chef to stuff like how Memphis ended up in Montana. How they both are respectful of each other and their secrets, while they both would like to know what is going on with the other, they both don't push it but encourage the other to open up more and more. But my favorite thing has to be how they both just understand what the other needs, like how Memphis knows that Knox needs something to do when he has the photo shoot for the article or how Knox knows that she needs reassurance that he wants her and Drake and that he will take all her best days and give her so many that she can't keep track of all of them.
"You were so alone that you left. Because you had no one. But you've got me now. And like I told you the other night, I'm not going anywhere." Maybe if I told her enough, she'd believe it.
"Promise?"
I dropped a kiss to her mouth. "I swear it."
Through this book, I also discovered that I just adore single-parent romances. I just truly adore how the new partner comes in and treats the other partner's children like they are their own. How for Juniper Hill Knox overcame his own trauma and bad experience that he had with a previous girlfriend and her child to be there for Memphis and Drake. I adore how he calls him 'Boss' and how he started coming around at night to take care of him so that Memphis could catch a break and actually get some rest. And when he calls Drake his son during the family's Thanksgiving dinner, I just swooned.
"My boy's a morning kid."
"Not mine." Knox pulled out the stool beside his brother. "Mine's a night owl."

4.0 out of 5 stars "you are mine. Drake is mine. For all of your todays and each of your tomorrows mine"
Verified Purchaseany way it was good read, fun and catchy but it's missing a spark and tears I had this expectation that it would made me cry. I thought it would be my five stars but i'm not sure.

5.0 out of 5 stars Knox Eden - that is all !!!!!
Verified PurchaseWoooo Weeee this series is just getting better and better.
Knox Eden - what can I say - chef, owner of a beautiful property, caring, hard-working and just overall sexy.
He rents out his loft to Memphis, a mother of a 8 week old baby who is working in his family inn after being hired by his sister Eloise.
They don’t get on at first and he is not keen on her being near him at work at outside of work, meanwhile, she is running from her family and is in this small town because she is unknown and they are unlikely to find her.
He helps with her son, swoon, and cooks for her, and I loved the attraction between the two of them as they fell in love.
There is a crime in this book also and when her family come to visit, the relationship between Knox and Memphis is strong and her family has much less of an impact on her life.
I loved Knox, what a man - a perfect book boyfriend and the perfect balance between romance and tension.
