Directions

Grind just enough beans for the amount of coffee you are about to brew. Use 10g of ground coffee for every 180ml of water (Approx. 1 haping tablespoon per 3/4 cup of water). Always prepare your coffee in a clean thoroughly dry coffee maker.

It is our first time trying this brand of coffee and it's pretty good. Wish it was a dark roast instead of medium. It has good flavor, it just seems like I have to use an extra scoop to get that stronger coffee that we like. The price was right compared to other swiss water decaff. Since we are not big coffee drinkers ( 2 cups each in the morning only ) it works for us. I hope they keep the price the same, then I will buy it again.

Worst Coffee I Have Ever Tasted!

Let me start by saying that it is very rare that I review anything and usually it is because I am so impressed that I want everyone to know.

Sadly this is not the case here. Being originally from Newfoundland, I was pretty excited to taste some locally roasted coffee. Unfortunately, this is by far the worst coffee I have ever tasted in my life. I couldn't even give it away and had no choice but to dispose of it. The beans look terrible, they are not evenly roasted, and the taste is the worst!

I would recommend that no one ever buys this coffee, if you can even call it coffee to begin with. It is too bad that you can't rate something with negative stars.

I would not have left a review save for the claim on the bag that "we import and roast the finest coffee beans". I opened the bag and have never seen whole beans look this poor before. Either the beans were of very poor quality before the roast, or the roasting process caused significant damage. As you can see from the picture there were maybe 2-3 whole beans out of the 20+ pictured, the rest were just broken bits (if you're generous you might argue there were 3-4 peaberries in there too). As for the flavour, it had decent crema but close to no flavour at all. I really hope that I just received a dud bag and that this is not what the roastery is actually putting out. The other dislike I have is no "Roasted On" date which I think is a must for any coffee roaster.
