This charger is designed very well. It has four slots for two pairs of Joy-Cons, each with a light to tell you if it's fully charged or not, plus an engraving telling you which controller side (left and right) goes where. It's easy to slide the controllers in and out too, with no need of the safety button on the Joy-Con as you don't use it while it charges, and the heavy weight of the product keeping the whole thing stable, even when taking the Joy-Cons out. Don't worry, it's still light enough to pick up if you need to move it.
The cable is found wrapped underneath the station, and is ideal for keeping the cable from getting caught on something when taking it with you. Speaking of the cable, it sticks out from underneath the station when in use, but still keeps the thing flat on where it's placed thanks to a small opening for it in the back. It uses the USB format and has a pretty good length. The cable is also thin, thinner than the other cables the Switch uses, so it's easy to wrap it around something, but it also likely means you need to be careful with it; if the cable breaks, you need to get a new charging station as it cannot disconnect from the charger itself.
Overall, it's nice to look at, it works as intended and is easy to use. I would recommend this product to any Switch owner who loves multiplayer fun at home, or if you have more than one pair of Joy-Cons lying around.
