I have a painting that i really wanted to make stand out by using a LED picture light. I found the Joossnwell Battery Operated Picture Light for Wall Rechargeable Art Lighting for Paintings and decided to give it a try. The light comes with a usb-c charging cable, mounting hardware, and a remote. The light is VERY well built. It charges quickly and the battery life of the light appears to be adequate. Through the remote, you can change the intensity, color, and other characteristics of the light and adjust the timer if needed. The light is big and requires you remove the whole unit off the wall to charge it. Maybe if they had a magnetic mount would be easier …. The light is very adjustable allowing the light to be placed to meet your specific lighting requirements. I did initially get a DOA unit so the replacement unit worked perfectly . The only other quirk is that the remote is also the same remote as another light i use , so this turns on both of them at the same time. Not sure if you can pair the remotes differently or not, but otherwise no real issues and would highly recommend .

Beautiful Lamp With Very Bright Light!

This is a beautiful Lamp, and perfect for complimenting anything from pictures & books, to collectibles & art. It comes with everything you need to mount it on multiple wall surfaces, and the brass finish is flawless. The structure of the lamp holds a strong position when you form it to the angle and extension you wish to have. There is no movement at all, so it stays in place perfectly! The only thing I didn't like is that it just randomly shuts off whenever it wants too, even if the battery is not low or set to any of the shut off timer modes. I tried without setting any timer, and it shut off after 45 minutes. I've had it set to 8hrs, and it'll shut off in 2, and so on. The unpredictability of when it decides it's just going to turn off, is rather annoying.

I still think it's a good quality and beautiful product, I just think that maybe there's a glitch in the matrix, at least in the one I received anyways. I tried all 6 timer settings, and none worked correctly. I've had this product for about 3 weeks now, and this has not changed from day one.

This is my review of Joossnwell’s Picture Light

The design of this light is nice and would fit in with most decors. In runs almost 24 inches (61 cm), so it should do a good job of illuminating your artwork, and even large paintings.

There is an on/off switch, and a USBc plug used for recharging (cord included) on the base.

The light is dimmable, and the remote allows you to set the brightness, color temperature, and even set it to a timer for up to 8 hours.

Instillation is straightforward, and they give you the hardware to mount it to your wall. You will need to supply a screwdriver and possibly a drill to complete the mounting.

I found that if I set it to full brightness, it will last about 8 hours before it needs recharging, but if I set it to 50% brightness, and run it 8 hours day, it will go for about 3 days before requiring a recharge.

You have two choices for recharging.
•You can take the unit off the wall, and recharge at your desk.
• You can plug the recharge cable into the until while it is on the wall.

Bottom Line
I like the design and the ability to change the brightness and color temperature. It just needs longer life between charges.

I ordered this light to mount over a painting we have displayed over our piano. It immediately elevated the look of a simple canvas painting. I appreciate the remote and the various colors of light. The swing arm is adjustable. It is fairly straight forward to mount. As others have mentioned, the battery does not last long and that is my only complaint.

Very pretty BUT

Takes 25/8 to charge and drains quickly. You also have to remove the entire fixture (and it’s very large!) to charge the “base.” It’s a great size and looks good on the wall but don’t expect a bright light. It’s got 3 light settings and they are all very dim. It literally took 7 hours to charge and 2 hours to drain (tested for longevity). You’re welcome.

The light itself is heavy and feels very durable but the hanging bracket that comes with the light doesn’t fit in the slit on the frame at all. So I had to just use the screw holes and ditch the metal hanger altogether.

As long as you don’t want/need a light that is bright enough to actually see what is underneath it, you don’t mind removing a relatively large fixture off your wall frequently to recharge and you just want a subtle glow, the price is fair and though it leaves some room for improvement - it is a very nice light.
